* Review of Method Statement (MS), Inspection & Testing Plan (ITP) & Shop Drawings and all other submitting Related to the standard workmanship and quality of works.
* Assuring that the works are performing as Per Project Specifications and and meets required qualities.
* Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
* Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.
* Conducting routine surveillance visits and preparing NCRs upon any noncompliance with Quality.
* Working with QC team to close the NCRs/quality findings, monitor the status and report to the quality manager
*Providing inspection Onsight of construction activities and responsible to perform / witness the inspection or test.
* Inspection / testing the material which is accepted based on a certificate of compliance.
* Performing / Witnessing all field test, shop test, inspection, factory inspection.
* Interfacing with Discipline Engineers to review and draw relevant engineering inputs and parameters accordance with client / project requirements.
* Performing complex inspection tasks and particularly important inspection work efficiently and accurately.
* Improving quality of the project, promoting best practice for site work.
* Increasing internal / external client satisfaction, communications.
* Supporting to Reviewing of monthly quality control reports, minutes of meetings, quality audit reports.
* Conducting Mockup inspections of all kinds of Finishes works according to Requests for Inspections submitted by contractors and highlight reasons for rejection of works, if any.
* Conducting inspection enabling works (Excavation, shoring piles, working Piles, Shot creating etc.) and Structural works (Raft, Retaining Wall, Columns, RCC Slabs & Beams, post tensioning Slabs and Beams etc.) according to Requests for Inspections submitted by contractors and highlight reasons of rejection if any.
* Conducting inspection on construction works Including Architectural (Masonry, Plaster, Paints, Wall covering Ledge wall Lining, Acoustic Lining, Dray wall Partitions, Façade Works, GRC, Stick Curtain & Unitized Curtain Wall, Ceiling works, Tiling works etc.) submitted by contractors and highlight reasons of rejection if any.
* Conducting Materials Inspection supervise the testing of materials and checking of materials samples against specifications and standards, as needed.
* Monitoring the implementation of quality non-conformities action plans on construction sites.
* Supporting HSE Engineers on enforcing and monitoring the implementation of HSE procedures on construction sites and recording and raising HSSE non-conformities, as needed.
* Closely working with Planning Engineers for monitoring contractors’ daily activities on site.
*Assisting Site Engineers with the preparation of list of snags to the contractor and monitoring the contractor’s
rectification of list of snags.
* Control all reviewed documents upon the completion of the project.
* Review construction drawings and all other information Related to the standard workmanship and quality of works * Closely working with Planning Engineers for monitoring contractors daily activities on site and resource allocation against plans * Conducting inspection on construction works according to Requests for Inspections submitted by contractors and highlight reasons for rejection of works, if any * Conducting quality inspections on contractors and subcontractors with the QA / QC Engineer and identify and raise quality issues, as needed * Monitoring the implementation of quality non-conformities action plans on construction sites * To Support HSSE Engineers on enforcing and monitoring the implementation of HSSE procedures on construction sites and recording and raising HSSE non-conformities, as needed * Supporting the Materials Engineer to supervise the testing of materials and checking of materials samples against specifications and standards, as needed * Supporting project teams with the review, assessment and response to all claims raised by the contractor regarding scope, schedule and cost changes of projects, as needed * Supporting the supervision team during the hand-over and defects liability period, as needed
* Supporting Site Engineers with the preparation of commissioning reports and with conducting final inspection of works *Assisting Site Engineers with the preparation of list of snags to the contractor and monitoring the contractors rectification of list of snags during the Defects Liability Period * Providing input for the preparation and issuance of Take-Over Certificates and Defect Liability Certificates * Providing input to Planning Engineers for the development of project progress reports, as needed Implement corporate policies and procedures.
* Responsible for maintaining and following quality strategies and systems at site In addition, providing support to the QA/QC Manager to make sure that quality risks are correctly assessed, identified and managed for all projects that require high quality delivery and execution * Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements * Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Program and ensuring incorporated materials on construction project is following the plans and specifications * Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities * Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work * Waterproofing applying checking foe the underground level of the building * Following up the concreting works in a presence of the consultant, slump test and cubes preparation for the compressive test * Finishing work checking in a presence of the consultant, block, plaster, painting, tiling, ceiling and light fitting * Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements * Create, Reviews and approves inspections, test plans (ITP) and quality control plans from client/consultant * Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems and issues with quality assurance and control for site construction * Plans and coordinates QA/QC activities, making certain of quality control of the work in accordance to contract requirements and prepare QA/QC Reports * Maintain a register for all the internal inspections and client inspections (RFITs) and follow up with the construction team to close out open RFITs * Report internal Site Deficiency Reports (SDRs) and updating the log, follow up with the construction teams to close out the open SDRs in the due dates * Report internal Site Non-conformance Reports (NCRs) and updating the log, follow up with the construction teams to close out the open NCRs in the due dates.
* Preparation of a project-specific project quality plan (PQP) and its Implementation * Evaluating design & supervising consultants, Contractors and subcontractor quality systems * Conducting regular interfaces with management to plan proactively and implement quality improvement measures * Preparation of daily schedule of Inspection and organize it * Plan routine sampling and testing of materials * NCR follow up and ensure close out * Identifying and documenting quality related problems and recommending solutions for quality improvement * Method statement * Supervise on site and offside laboratory activities to insure test are conducted (distractive and non-distractive) * Make sure corrective action for damages in works * Attend site meeting with OM/PM to review minutes of meeting * Assist health and safety manager.
* Inspection and supervision of entire ongoing activities at site to ensure quality of work * checking all types of method statements, shop drawings and documents related to the entire Building and network of Roads and infrastructure * Ensure the site sanitation and cleanliness * Ensuring that all concrete tests are carried out as per contract requirements * Closely monitoring concrete pours and checking of Different types of Finishes Walling, Ceiling and Floorings, ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures * Make sure that the entire (HSE) safety rules related to construction work are observed * Inspection of Embankment filling, Road bed, Sub-grade, Sub- Base, Aggregate Base Course & Asphalt Wearing Course as per Contract Documents * checking of civil related works and sequencing of utility services construction including excavation and filling, reinforced concrete manholes & chambers and associated underground ducting, foundations for street & landscape lighting and signage, drainage and gulley’s, water retaining civil works for water features, laying of utility services such as pipe work, cabling and telecoms* Preparation of Progress reports, daily, weekly and monthly basis and report to RE (Resident Engineer) * Checking and Confirming the submittals / Transmittals with drawings and official letters to get NOC’S from different authorities / Departments like.
* Readout and interpret construction contracts, specifications, and any other documentation associated with the construction * project Controlling, managing and checking of technical work quality, conducting quality inspection on the installed systems at sites * Knowledge and application of local regulations and safety rules * To provide Technical Support at different sections of Project Infrastructure work, Banquet hall, Squish court, Swimming pool, Tennis courts Structure and finishing work and land scaping * Preparation of weekly, monthly progress reports * Maintain progress of work as per program of work * Preparation of Project Billing.
* Provide full assistant for the Project Manager in all activities required to be delivered in the site on timely manner and required Quality/Quantity * Define the project materials, man powers and equipment’s needed to finish the works assigned on time without delays * Follow up the execution, items delivery, and report any delay to the Project Manager * Execution of work as per Schedule and program * Preparation of billing for Sub Contractors Interim payment certificates and overall billing of the project.
