1. Prepared technical proposal (solution diagram / design details) based on 5 year’s Awasr backhaul capacity requirements for 17 cities. Awasr is broadband Internet service provider and the third fixed line telecom operator
2. In line with wholesale, lead Friendi Mobile Coverage enhancement project for 18 cities (nationwide). Friendi operational model is MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator).
3. Worked with Business, Technical teams for preparing proactive PMP coverage design for industrial areas of 12 cities

1. Worked on PDO project for provisioning of CCTV backhauled by 5G network. This is aligned with OO 5G network rollout.

Being Team Lead Transmission Planning & Optimization, my major responsibilities are:
• Formulate Transmission design for shifting of MSC from Lahore 02 to Lahore 03. This involved re-routing of PDH/SDH links. Formulation of MW Trunk radio rings (at Lahore 03) keeping transmission design parameters in consideration.
• Prepared Transmission plan for troubled Hub/dependent sites.
• Prepared Transmission plan using OMO's site as passive repeaters.
• Organized and conducted interviews for Transmission Planning & Optimization roles.
• Prepared Transmission Design flowchart for identification of key stakeholders involved in the project and to define flow of transmission planning activities.
• Contract management (vendors / subcontractors)
• Allocation of media to facilitate EDGE Timeslots on Ericsson/Huawei sites.
• Performance evaluation of problematic links by looking at SES and UAS parameters.

• Supervision of Technical Site Surveys (TSS) / LOS Surveys in line with transmission network plans and in coordination with concerned departments.
• Nationwide POC for Outdoor Micros Project (LOS Survey, MUX Plan, TXN Plan, Link Budgeting)
• Close coordination with multiple stake holders (RF department, BSS department, Site Acquisition department, CME department, Marketing, Vendors like Huawei / Ericsson, LOS subcontractors, regional TXN Planning teams) for day to day project activities.
• Coordination with vendor and regional teams for the consolidation of Weekly Progress reports.
• Preparation of MUX Plan / E1 routing in multi-vendor clusters. This includes EDGE enabled sites, DCN traffic etc.
• Preparation of Nominal & Final Transmission plans (using MapInfo 8.5 / TEMS 6.6.3) including Macro sites, Micro sites, repeaters, COW, IBS sites, VSAT sites. TXN Equipment utilized are Ericsson (MINI-LINK TN, MINI-LINK HC), Huawei (RTN), NEC (Paso, Paso+, NEO), NERA (InterLink, CityLink) and MARCONI (MDRS). This includes Link Budgeting, Interference analysis and frequency planning. Both for PDH & SDH MW links.
