Job Description: Teaching & Research
1. Teaching: Courses relating to crop protection including; Pest Management, Pesticide Toxicology, Pesticide Resistance Management and Host Plant Resistance etc.
2. Research: Pest Management, Pesticides’ Toxicity & Pesticide Residue Analysis
To provide technical agricultural services to the growers through different sources such as: personal contacts / farmers gathering / Conducting seminars & workshops / multimedia presentation & literature distribution to enable them to follow the proper Agricultural Techniques / Good Agricultural Practices for sustainable agriculture so as to get better yield.
To organize in-house field trials of different crops i. e. Cotton, Wheat & Seasonal Vegetable crops etc. at farmer's field as demonstration plot.
To train the farmers about safe and effective use of pesticides with emphasis on their minimal use, so as to avoid Environmental pollution.
To train the field staff in their assigned schedule of work.
