Suki Kinari Hydro Power Project: 1.9 billion USD CPEC project involving construction of 22.6KM lined Headrace tunnel. Access tunnel, tailrace twin tunnels, eleven Adits, Powerhouse cavern, Penstocks, Surge shaft, Main Dam, Spillways and Intake structure on Kunhar River in KPK province. It is a run-of-river project which on completion shall contribute 884MW electric power to the National grid of Pakistan.
Activities:
• Review of Contractor’s design submissions, with context of surveying.
• Construction survey supervision of Main Dam, Power house works involving survey control network, cross section work and excavation sheets verification of dam site as well as power house site.
• Supervision of all sort of surveying work of power house area i.e. checking of under cuts/overcuts and over breaks and to inform the OE, s supervising staff to take action for the improvement of the work quality.
• Checking of the as built survey and to compare with the design to evaluate the deviations.
• Tunnel cross sections check for undercut/overcuts.
