Jubail Industrial College (www.jic.edu.sa) is one of the leading institution in the Kingdom offering Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree Programs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing, Chemical and Process Engineering and Management and Information Technology. The college also offers continuing education and training programs for industries in Jubail Industrial City and for the community.
I have been working in JIC as Lecturer since 2008 and have been involved in various activities including,
1. Involved in teaching ASSOCIATE and BS level courses like Basic PLC, Advanced PLC, Digital system design, Microprocessors, Industrial Control, Computer Control 1 & 2, Analog Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, Digital Electronics and others
2. Teaching various Special Programs like Industrial Automation, DCS systems, FPGA design, Advanced PLC, Fire Alarm Systems and others
3. Serving as Director Fire Safety Training Center (2016-present)
4. HEAD. IACET Accreditation Committee (April 2019-October 2020)
5. Chairman, Material Requisition Committee, JIC (Jan 2012-Dec 2018)
6. Industrial Programs Coordinator, Electrical Engineering Department (June 2008-June 2014)
7. ABET Accreditation Committee member (January 2013 -2014).

Hafr AlBatin Community College (now an autonomous university under ministry of higher education) was an affiliate community college of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals established in 2001.
The aim of the college was to offer technical education to community. The College used to offer associate degree programs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Computer Science and Business Studies.
I was among those faculty members who joined college in the beginning and was among the ground breakers.
During my stay in HBCC-KFUPM, I performed following duties.
1. Involved in teaching courses like Microprocessor Interfacing, PLCs, Digital Circuits, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, Electrical Circuits and Electronics
2. Coordinator Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology Program, Hafr Al-Batin Community College (HBCC), KFUPM (2004-2005)
3. Academic Affairs Committee Member, HBCC, KFUPM (2004-2005)
4. Actively participated in activities that led to the accreditation of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology program by Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA, 2005.
5. Coordinator, Committee to review Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology program, degree plan and curriculum (HBCC-KFUPM), 2004-2005.
6.Member, B.S. Program (Applied Electrical Engineering) planning and development committee (HBCC-KFUPM), 2006-2007.
After completing my B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering, I applied in King Fahd University for Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
I won scholarship as Research Assistant where I was required to teach labs, complete my M.S. degree and carry out research.
1. Taught various labs including Control Engineering 1, Digital Logic Design, Electronics I & II, and Electrical Circuits I
2. Served as a member of a team that reviewed Digital Logic Design Lab manual and Electronics II lab manual.
3. Completed MS Thesis as part of M.S degree program. MS Thesis Title: “New Code Acquisition Technique using Adaptive Filters in Wireless Communications”.
4. Conducted research both individually and as a member of team.
Mobilink Private Limited is one of the leading companies in Pakistan offering cellular service. After completing my graduation from NED UNIVERSITY, I was hired by Mobilink as Trainee Engineer after a tedious task. I worked as Trainee Engineer and acquired training of daily inspection of cell sites, path balance analysis, switching, drive testing, and calibration of TX and RX Antennas
I completed my Masters with a GPA of 3.86/4.0. I completed MS Thesis as part of M.S degree program. MS Thesis Title: “New Code Acquisition Technique using Adaptive Filters in Wireless Communications”. I also completed around eight courses in areas of Digital Systems, Control Engineering, Industrial Automation and Telecommunications.
I secured 80% as average during B.E. degree. I secured 8th position out of 200 students. My B.E. PROJECT was "Microcontroller based Speech Recognition System" I also completed several other projects during B.E. degree.
