- Monitor and analyze Core Network & IP Backbone (IPBB) performance on a regular basis through network counters measurements and Nexus.
- Report detected performance problems, observation, and recommendations to the concerned entity, Recommend solutions and follow-up solving the problems with the concerned entity.
- Implement researches and case study for best practice based on network performance results to come up with suggestions for best practice about network performance and recommended settings.
- Form and validate new indicators for core network & IPBB performance and prepare thresholds for key performance indicators for old and new hardware, software release and technology.
- Conduct root cause analysis for frequently repeated problems in services, recommend solutions and follow up with the concerned entities.
- Prepare regular core network and IPBB performance reports.
- Contribute in proposing new core network monitoring tools and upgrade existing tools.
- Implement physical site audit for core sites as per yearly plan, report audit results, provide recommendations and follow-up solving detected problems with technical department and rollout subcontractor.
- Benchmark core network performance against time, before and after putting new network node in service, hardware expansion, software upgrade and new service or feature activation.
- Prepare Nexus yearly requirements based on network design.
- Coordinate with MIS & IT service supplier to maintain and support Nexus infrastructure.
- Supervise supplier installation, commissioning and configuration of Nexus and verify its functionality.
- Check Nexus performance by generating performance reports, and channeling detected problems to the supplier, follow up with concerned entity till solving the problems.
- Design electronic components, software, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, or scientific applications.
- Analyze customer needs and determine electrical system requirements, capacity, and cost to develop a system plan.
- Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electronic components and equipment.
- Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair.
- Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Plan and develop applications and modifications for electronic properties used in parts and systems to improve technical performance.
- Installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies, such as communication systems.
- Configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users.
- Help desk, answering calls and e-mails regarding the computer network or communication systems.
- Writing reports, tracking inventory, evaluating new technologies, and developing contingency plans in case of network failure.
- Web designing and solving Internet security problems.
