Working in Ericsson Pakistan as Transmission Design Engineer for Mobilink/Jazz Pakistan on 2G, 3G and LTE based Multi-vendor Network.
• Responsible for supporting sales engagement and customers in establishing, developing and closing business opportunities in networking products such as NG-SDH, DWDM/OTN and Microwave network.
• Identifying customer requirement and providing complete network services solution.
• Technical solution presentations to customers.
• Preparation of technical proposals, BOQ’s and working on RFP/RFQ and MBH design documents.
• Stakeholder management, Scope management and Time management.
• Prepare SoW, calculate Man-Hours and resource dimensioning.
• E2E transmission Network Design of Metros/Long Haul Optical
• Rings/Spur sections comprising of SDH, DWDM/OTN and
• Native Ethernet technologies, which includes Network Dimensioning and HLD/LLD’s.
• Responsible for solution delivery for complete R2 AoIP swap with multi-vendor RAN.
• Identify customer concerns and recommend solutions accordingly.
• Focused on new Add on sales and lead opportunities based on existing footprint.
Support BSS & TRM Field service Operation Product implementation and rollout support
BSS & Transmission system testing support BSS & TXN Services quality analysis, action and reporting to Internal management & Customer.
• On Site 2G/3G/4G commissioning to on Air process and trouble shooting.
• On site problem rectification of 2G/3G/4G
2G/3G/4G surveys and installation for different sites and locations.eg Ibs/Macro/micro.
• Working with Gui and Command Line interface of 2G/3G/4G
• Preparation of sites for PAT (Provisional Acceptance) & FAT (Final Acceptance).
• Complete Maintenance of sites including BTS, Transmission Equipment & GENSETS
• Power Test of Radio’s (TRX) of BTS.
• Troubleshoot of external alarms of sites.
• Delivering complete files, test reports and pictures of sites for documentation purposes.
• Testing of Antennas and feeder cables with Site Master
• Complete Implementation & Configuration of Transmission equipment of different capacity including, Minilink-E, AMM-2P, AMM-6P, AMM-20P ML6600 Series
• MW alignment and End to End Media Clearance
• Configuration of MMU cards both for Minilink & classic nodes using MSM and Minilink Craft
• Loop back testing from BSC to transmission DDF and Cell Sites
• DCN Implementation for the visibility of sites.
• Traffic Node physical and logical cross connections
• Trouble shooting of External and internal alarms, related to RBS and Transmission Equipment
• SW/HW Configuration and Up-gradation of RBS and Transmission equipment from low capacity to high capacity.
• Installation and commissioning /troubleshooting for DELTA /EMERSON Power systems
• Quality Visits on site for BSS & Transmission issues
• Preform ATP of all C-2 Region
• Submit PAC & FAC reports to customer
• Installation and Commissioning/troubleshooting of 2G & 3G RBS 6000 series (6301, 6201, 6101, 6102)
• Install DUG, DUW and DUS, load IDB in DUG and upload script in DUW & DUS
• Performing Sweep test for Feeder Cables quality Check
• Implementation of Q1 for Alarms and monitoring & fault finding
