providing contracting & trading services in industrial catering, events & banqueting, construction, facility management, technical
systems, new business ventures and travel.

Responsibilities:
• Timely processing of period-end routines (provisions, accrual and prepayments, allocation of overheads, reclassification and corrections), general ledger (GL) journals, review/prepare monthly reconciliations of GL accounts.

• Monthly reconciliation of 19 bank GL accounts, 22 integration bank GL ledgers, 32 affiliate companies GL accounts and other balance sheet schedules. Monitor and control any data integrity issues on the balance sheet

• Independently investigate and reconcile discrepancies with the coordination of other business functions and affiliates.

• Acting as a facilitator to affiliate companies and vendors in negotiations and conflict resolutions of issues.

• Providing support to new and existing affiliate companies in their monthly closing activities and verifying their work for accuracy.

• Controlling all payment vouchers and transactions (A/C Payable), inter-company/division and treasury unit's transactions.

• Line management of junior personnel for various accounting tasks and to provide direction, mentoring and support.

• Assist in the formulation of budgetary and accounting controls and policies and to ensure effectiveness and improvement of procedures that upholds the integrity of corporate financial information.

• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external auditors to fulfill engagement requirements.

• Analysis of monthly financial statements against budgets and forecasts and provide cash flow forecasts for senior
management.

• Perform month end analytical reviews of the accounts of designated divisions and businesses for cost reasonableness.

• Appraise cash flows and financial risks of investment projects and assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities.

Key Achievements:

• Optimized and standardized banks and affiliates reconciliation process. Reduced time spend on reconciliation from 10 days to 3 days and 15 days to 5 days respectively which resulted in settlement of SAR. 13.2 million In long outstanding dues being
settled saving SAR. 325 thousand approximately in finance cost and improved cash flow

• Internal control improvements in payable and treasury unit, facilitated A/P unit centralization and developed efficient A/P
operating cycle and procedures which reduced Invoices to be accounted balance by 85% achieving correct period expense
recognition and aging, reduced vendor's inquiries.

• Developed database using MS Access for management of company's payment vouchers and lines of credit which provided
continues monitoring of the cash & banks situation at any given point in time and improved previously ineffective controls.

• Developed short term (6 months) cash flow forecasting model in MS- Excel enabling management to analyze cash flow using
sensitivity analysis on revenue, accounts payable and receivable and operating expenses which directly resulted in optimal
utilization of lines of credits and improved cash operating cycle.

• Developed projects profitability analysis model using advanced MS-Excel techniques and VBA programming which improved
management focus and reduced report preparation time from 10 minutes per project to 20 minutes for all the company's
projects (115 projects)
