Project
•King Abdullah Security Compounds - Phase 3 (KAP 3)
Description: The project involves construction of 620 security compounds and associated facilities in a various location across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contract for subconsultants.
•Provided assistance & advice on contractual & procurement matters to the Employer.
•Reviewed & evaluated Variations and documentation regarding Cost and Extension of Time Claims from the Contractor.
•Drafted Contractual Correspondence on all issues as directed by the Project Control Managers.
•Throughout the project, monitored the project risk related activities to ensure correct and effective implementation of the project risk management plan.
•Ensured the Project Control Managers are kept informed and aware of the risks relating to the project.
•Reviewed risk register status and progress by implementing risk mitigation plans, raising clarifications, and reporting on delays or issues
•Attended the project risk meetings as required and facilitating workshop for risk identification, assesment and response planning.
• Working on procedures to ensure that procurement processes are conducted soundly and that procurement related actions are documented, defensible and substantiated in accordance with legislation.
• Analyzed and negotiated with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit and prepared contract documents for hiring the Suppliers/ Sub-contractors.
• Managed and monitored Sub-contractors of different trades in order to ensure their work scope as per Management Requirements.
