Pre-Sale Management:
Organise the presale process of a project from generation to contract signing. Lead negotiations and overall compliance until contract handover for customers and suppliers/vendors;
• Manage the response to RFPs and RFQs in accordance with company policy and organized reviews and decision-making of draft contract responses and presented them for approval / decision making.
• Direct dialogues on contractual and commercial matters with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance and favourable clause improvements.
• Serve as an authoritative and trusted source for contract information, unified contract information, and prepared the quality of contract data.
• As a member of the review board, reviewed overall delivery solutions and suggested and aligned delivery strategy with intended contract drafts.
• Prepare commercial factors, such as DPI, inflation, policy fluctuations, and risk estimates to be included in contract drafts.
• Finalize with clients and suppliers to convert contract drafts into final contracts. Organized for the signing of offshore and onshore contracts with clients and internal signatories.
• Arrange contract handover meetings between pre-sale and post-sale teams and implemented the transfer of key contract clauses or commitments.
• Lead in drafting RFPs and tender documents for design, engineering, construction, rollout, installation, integration, support/maintenance, training, revenue-shared, and/or project management services for approval.
Post Sale Management:
Accountable for ensuring that company contracts with employers (customers) and suppliers/vendors, and other contracts within the company scope, are executed and maintained throughout the contract period;
• Performed the review of contractual notices of claims (changes) and provided contractual recommendations to the project team in administering contracts.
• Liaised with client representatives, project management consultants, designers, and other consultants and relevant contractors regarding all contractual matters.
• Lead the administration of ongoing contracts, including monitoring contractor and consultant compliance with contract documents.
• Prepared correspondence and records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all contractual matters, including the issue of variation orders and/or extension of time (EOT).
• Organize the contractual billing and collection (account receivable generation/management).
• Ensured that all contractual procedures were implemented and maintained for the effective management of liquidity damages or penalties.
• Reviewed and assessed contractor's claims in accordance with the provisions of the conditions of contract and ensured that the client's interests were protected.
• Ensure all warranties, bonds, insurances, guarantees, etc., were in place and maintained and updated according to the contract and comply with client requirements.
• Supervise the contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts were complied with before contract was closed.
• Review and approval of the preparation of periodic (monthly or weekly) progress, analytical, benchmarking, and reports.
Directed the tendering process for multiple rollout and managed services projects, resulting in an xx% increase in successful project completion.
• Plan and implemented financial models for 70 projects in Pakistan and Far-east countries, resulting in a 15% increase in project profitability.
• Discussed and resolved complex contract claims with EU operator, resulting in a 10% increase in revenue collection.
• Successfully avoided a $0.5M penalty by negotiating and securing an extension of time claim for a USF project.
• Reduced procurement costs of spares and consumables by 11%, resulting in a cost savings of $0.2M for multiple telecom operators.
• Managed a portfolio of 50+ vendors (suppliers) totalling more than PKR 500+ million, resulting in a 15% increase in supplier-enabled innovation.
• Successfully drove procurement strategy with oversight of sourcing and change management, resulting in a 20% reduction in business risks.
