•Managing all QHSE related matters form the company and ensure that all requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner as required by international standards, Federal and HSE authorities in the UAE.
•Preparation and implementation of policies, targets, objectives and their periodic review
•Carry out periodic HSE inspections/Survey of the total site including temporary facilities and preparations of checklists.
•Planning and management of internal & external QHSE Audits.
•Involved and handle all external QHSE auditors and inspectors during the year.
•Preparation of Monthly QHSE statistic report and reporting Quarterly OHS Performance report to industrial Sector regulatory Authority (IDB) Abu Dhabi UAE.
•Arrange and involved in Management review & Safety Committee meetings.
•Preparation of Incident reports and incident investigation report with the coordination of victim department manager for the identification of immediate & root causes.
•Develop and establish emergency procedures and evacuation plans and ensure all personnel are aware of the procedures, plans and emergency assembly points.
•Impart HSE training (Induction, risk assessment, refresher) to all employees
•Carry out Risk assessment (Environment, Health & Safety) in coordination with all operational departments.
•Ensure that method statement, risk assessment and job safety analysis has been undertaken and agreed prior to commencement of new work activity if the activity has potential risk to material or personnel.
•Establishing and updating of HSE documents like Manual and procedures etc.
•To maintain and check inventory of HSE requirements like PPE’s and first aid items
•Manage appropriate waste disposal through approved service providers from CWM Abu Dhabi UAE
•Involved and actively participate as company representative in all HSE related training and seminars arranged by HSE authorities with in the UAE.
•Daily visit of plant and inspection of different areas regarding safety.
•Ensure HSE performance aspects comply with the safety management system and all relevant government and international legislations.
•Actively participate in the promotion of HSE policies, plans and programs with in the entity.
•Provide daily advice on HSE support and services to the line managers.
•Inspection of different areas during plant work activities.
•Inspection during special activities like hot work and confined space work etc.
•Provide inductions and periodic training to employees as per annual schedules.
•Carryout risk assessment and preparation of corrective and preventive actions.
•Arrange and involved in safety inspections program.
•Planning & involved in internal & external HSE audits.
•Implementation of Quality Management system within HSE department.
•Arrange safety committee meetings and management review meetings.
•Involved with external inspectors & auditors during environmental inspection program of entity.
