o Responsible for implementation of ACC Health Safety & Environmental Management systems and Monitor construction activities.
o Analyzing and assessing the significant work related risk on work place and suggesting the appropriate control measures to bring down the existing risk to an acceptable level by preparing the Risk Assessment.
o Attending the Weekly and Monthly site staff management meeting to discuss and resolve the site safety outstanding issues, recording the minutes of meeting.
o Conducting the weekly site supervisors meeting to address the site safety issues.
o Reviewing the Method Statements for critical task, indentifying the significant risks and preparing the Risk Assessments to eliminate or reduce the existing risk on trivial level.
o Liaised with Consultants and number of subcontractors to ensure seamless operations.
o Inspect the site critical activities such as work at height, heavy lifting, hot work activities etc... on daily basis to ensure that safe system of work is implemented on ground.
o Create the awareness among the workers about the existing hazards, risk and encounter tactics to these hazards and risks prior to start critical activity on site & Issuing the permit to work for such activities like excavation, entry in confine space, hot work etc…
o Given the safety induction newly join staff to the project.
Liaised with project personnel to plan develop and implement a safety training programme for all personnel on site and ensure Sub contractor compliance with acceptable standard of Health & Safety and are in compliance with all construction codes and safe working practices.
