The Sajjad Alam and brothers are mechanical contractors providing different type of services like general order supplies, fabrications and installation of custom and exciting products from aluminium, iron and steel according to Pakistan Tobacco Company demands as well as providing maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical products and systems i.e., HVAC and plumbing to the above mentioned industry.
Main duties performed:
 Writing of permit for daily works.
 Writing daily works details in company admin office.
 Designing, preparation, drafting, calculation, specification, execution, coordination, implementation, assistance, reviewing and data analysis of products to be made and installed.
 Verification of drawings.
 Cost estimation of projects.
 Dealing with suppliers.
 Sending quotations to client.
 Overhauling/ Maintenance of packing machines.
 Making of layouts of different mechanical systems and products needs to be repair or change.
 Supervision of different mechanical works and directing the workers during working including;

.Machines maintenance
.Different types of ducts fabrications,
installation, repairing and maintenance
.Pipes and valves installation and maintenance
.Trusses structures manufacturing
.AHU’s maintenance
.Conveyor belts replacements and maintenance
.Drilling, cutting and grinding works
 Monitoring of project progress.
 Ensuring EHS policies on floor to provide health and environmental safety to all the employees working there.

The Pakistan Locomotive Factory (Risalpur) is a manufacturer of locomotives for Pakistan. It’s a part of Pakistan Railway.
As a Trainee Engineer I have;
 Learned the processes of production and design Section.
 Supervise the activities of the fabrication staff and provide technical support and advice if they face a setback.
 Learned weld procedures and manufacturing methods.
 Operating equipment and machines including CNC machines, cutting machines and hydraulic presses for the fabrication of mechanical components.
 Ensured smooth progress of HVAC.
 Lab testing of material using different type of Engineering Equipment’s.
 Worked in maintenance department.
 Done safety training in company.

The Pakistan Ordnance Factory is a major firearms, defense contractor and military corporation headquartered in Wah Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan. Manufacturing conventional arms & ammo to international standards.
As an Internee my duties were to observe and understand the processes and operations of different sections and machines including;
 Fuse Shop C-12.
 Shell Forging Shop B-31.
 Furnaces.
 Press Section.
 Welding Section.
 Machining Section.
 Maintenance.
