KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -
* Responsible for quality of work executed by assuring it to conform to the approvedconstruction
drawings, project specifications, and applicable local standards.
* Visual inspection of incoming materials with respect to approved drawings, specifications,
approved material submittals, approved samples.
* Carryout regular site inspections and advice the Quality related issues to the ProjectManager
and discuss corrective/preventive actions with the site staff
* Testing & Commissioning of Electrical systems in the presence of Project Consultants.
* Familiarize with companies Quality Management System in line with requirements of ISO.
* Study the Project Quality Plan and monitor the requirements of the acceptance criteria defined in
the Quality Control Plan/Inspection Test Plans.
* Maintain quality records such as material submittals/ inspection requests/ required logs of
activities related to Quality Control as per Project requirements.
* Preparation of weekly/ monthly QA/QC reports and forwarding the same to the
Client/Consultant/Main Contractor with a copy to Projects QA/QC Manager /Project file.
* Studying the drawings and specifications.
* Providing required support to the third partypersonnel.
* Preparation of Method Statement, Checklists & ITP.
* Issue Internal/External NCR or Site Observation and take preventive and corrective actions.
* Conduct regular Site Surveillance.
* Coordinating with the site/sub contract personnel in different areas of operations to ensure the
final product complies with the contract specifications/drawings.
* To verify and keep a record of the measuring instruments indicating the status of
checking/calibration.
* To report any deviation in the working methods pertaining to the construction activities in
accordance with approved construction drawings/Project QualityPlan/specifications/method
statements.
* To participate in internal meetings and Main contractors/consultants/sub-contractors meeting.
* To face the Internal/ Third party Audits and to comply with the requirements by maintainingthe
required records.
* Regular Training of the Site Team to improve the Quality ofWorks.
* Assists as necessary the Engineering department in the evaluation and correction ofspecific
quality control problems and issues.
* Generally responsible for the safety of all personnel of the project by ensuringthat the project
execution will be done as per applicable health, safety and environmental standards.
