Promoted to Head of Risk PMO in Risk division of the bank, my main responsibilities were to setup the PMO, suggest, select & implement risk technology solution, Basel II Framework project implementation & business intelligence solution for Risk division. I was reporting to Chief Risk Officer of the Bank.

Key Achievements:
Established PMO using a mix of CMMI & PMI methodologies, tools used were MS EPM & MS Project, Defined Project Charter, Steering Committee identification for escalation and submission of project Status, Develop Project Plan, Team building & Management, Identifying Risk & Mitigation, Assignment of Project Task to right resource.

• Program Management of Basel II Framework Implementation consisting of 6 Modules Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Rating & Risk Systems modules on an enterprise level.
• Managed the policy & procedure project for Basel II covering Risk Rating Module, Credit Risk module, Ops Risk module, market Risk and enterprise risk module.

For MashreBank and its subsidiaries I managed the implementation & upgrade of Oracle ERP modules namely HRMS, General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, Inventory & Fixed Asset modules.

Investment Banking
Managed the implementation of Mutual Fund Software (Flex Cube) for Investment division of MashreqBank. The software takes care of Mutual Fund products of MashreqBank. It’s off the shelf software purchased from I-Flex.

Business Intelligence
As Systems Analyst, I worked as lead team member for the Implementation of Data warehousing project. The team worked on creating a unified database for the bank providing single version of truth. The EDW provided reporting and analysis framework for business intelligence about MB’s customers, which holds information of Customer profitability, Customer relationship, Activity based costing, risk exposure of customers etc. Documented all data model requirements for business. Developed data models and designed applications for data architecture. Prepared architecture strategies according to requirements

Key Achievements:
Developed comprehensive information systems for retail & commercial customers through Data Marts, Data Warehouse. I was involved in the following activities of the project:
• Vendor, Tool Selection i.e. ETL, Database & Front end
