Responsible for handling all import of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies from the UK. U.S.A, Spain, Romania, Germany, Australia, India and Malaysia in Saudi Arabia through Air and Sea shipments.
Responsible for handling communications with the suppliers for advance payments as per relevant agreement and afterwards following up for pending orders, supplier production status and expected date of readiness -ERD and detailed follow up for shipped and balance quantities supplier wise. Keeping a close eye for batch records and expiry of each item to ensure each shipment is accepted against the contract with Ministry of Hospital.
Responsible for arranging appropriate freight forwarder for ready shipments with acceptable date of expiry through RFQ’s providing them with the shipment details, i.e., Shipment Value (Insurance), packing list, Terms of shipment, shipment handling temperature and coordinating between the shipper and assigned freight forwarder for Ex-work shipment from source to Saudi Arabia (RUH and JED).
Responsible for internal communication with the custom clearance department to get arrived shipment cleared timely and advise Logistics department for deliveries to the warehouse.
Responsible for payments of the freight forwarders for received shipments in coordination with finance team.
Average value of shipments per month: 30 Mil.
Responsible for Total Warehouse Management.
Receiving
• All packed SKUs. from Riyadh production department plus receiving of all packed SKUs from Jeddah plant.
• All filter containers from the U.S. plus car care products from multiple sources.
• All local filters for leading car manufacturers i.e., Toyota, Ford, Nissan and Hyundai brands.
• All third-party oil for Petromin Express including Castrol, Toyota, Mobil
Primary Transport
• To Dammam, Qassim and Abha warehouses daily basis including all Petromin packed, bulk, all third-party packed SKUs along with all local plus imported filter and car care SKUs.
• To all 270 Petromin Express stations in Riyadh region for all Petromin packed, bulk, all third-party packed SKUs along with all local plus imported filter and car care SKUs.
Secondary Transport
• Responsible for “On Time In Full” OTIF target of 96% for all customer orders delivery across the kingdom
Including all packed and bulk deliveries using company owned vehicles and third-party vehicles. Averaging to loading of 40-45 trailers per day.
• Managing the transport target cost of .07 SAR/ ltr.
Product Slotting And Storage:
• Responsible for placement and storage of all SKUs the right place the first time in accordance with the product movement.
Inventory Count cycles
• Responsible for internal cycle count of all SKUs monthly basis.
• Responsible for inventory cycle count of all SKUs by finance department quarterly basis.
Team Management
• Responsible for a team of 35 employees including 6 storekeepers, 02 schedulers, 01 inventory controller
10 forklift drivers, 10 labors, 06 customer delivery drivers.
