Research Project: Conducted ethnographic fieldwork on youth unemployment in Sokoto, interviewing 30+ participants and presenting findings at my department's Undergraduate Research Symposium. 2. Academic Excellence: Achieved Second Class standing in Sociological Theory and Research Methods, 2005 cohort. 3. Community Impact: Led a 4-member team to design and execute a community survey on Health roles for NGO X, providing data that informed their outreach strategy in the Bodinga Local community of Sokoto State. 4. Publication/Presentation: Co-authored a departmental working paper on urban migration patterns in Nigeria, presented at the Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Association Student Conference. 5. Applied Sociology: Organized campus focus groups on student mental health stigma, compiling a report that was adopted by the Student Affairs Division to improve counseling services. 6. "As a sociology student, I designed and carried out independent field research on informal economies in Abuja markets, applying qualitative methods to produce actionable insights."
