Proven Job Role:
Manage supply chain functions to achieve cost effective order fulfillment
Plan and execute adequate and timely distribution of goods globally as per the
customer requirement by fixing the best possible logistics mode
Collaborates with Sales, Production, Packing and Finance teams to decide on
warehousing and material ins and outs.
Works closely with shipping lines, forwarders and other third-party agents to
obtain the best rates & services and also to ensure smooth sailing of goods.
Create tracking measurements in co-ordination with service providers on both
import and export shipments so as to update production team and customers
respectively.
Monitoring and verifying all commercial documents, Letter of Credit and other
Shipping and Bank requirements as per UAE / JAFZA regulations.
Taking care of third-party inspection/approvals for the shipments as required
by the destination customs.
Attend queries from Government Institutions like Dubai Customs, DP World,
Jafza Authority etc and device solutions.
Monitor domestic movement of goods by opting suitable transportation and to
verify appropriate documentation like Legalization/Duty paid/Duty
Exemptions in line with the customer’s demand.
Freight negotiation and delivery control with local transport companies for
GCC and other Arab Countries
Verifying and approving invoices and receipts
Co-ordinate with Finance team for payments
Reporting to management on weekly movement of goods and cost involved.
Monitoring and arranging Import shipments clearance and delivery from domestic and international suppliers.
