Responsibilities:
✓ Daily monitoring the Construction Activities.
✓ Responsible for the over-all Construction accordance with project specifications and IFC
drawings.
✓ Develop and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic drawings, control &
protection layouts, and equipment specifications for MV/HV substations (11/33 kV,
33/132 kV, 132/380 kV, etc.).
✓ Assisted in the installation, testing, and commissioning of power equipment including
transformers, switchgear, RMU, circuit breakers, isolators, and control panels.
✓ Conducted pre-commissioning checks, insulation resistance testing, and functional
testing of electrical equipment.
✓ Responsible for the DC side testing, AC side testing, System Integration and Grid
Synchronization.
✓ Collaborated with engineers and site supervisors to execute daily construction and
erection activities.
✓ Read and interpreted electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and
protection/control schematics.
✓ Followed all safety protocols and contributed to maintaining a safe and organized
worksite.
✓ Participated in routine inspection and quality assurance (QA/QC) processes to ensure
compliance with project specifications.
✓ Reported progress and technical issues to senior engineers and project managers.
✓ Responsible for making daily and weekly progress reports.
✓ Responsible for different Types of Electrical Terminations.
✓ Installation of complete electrical system like conduiting, cable tray, building wiring and cables
as per approved drawing.
✓ Installation of electrical equipments like transformer, switchboards and panel boards as per
approved drawing and manufacturer recommendation.
✓ Continuity and Insulation resistance testing of building wiring and cables.
✓ Responsible for the schematic representation of electrical connections and terminations in a
system.
✓ Responsible for the conduit and cable tray installation works.
✓ ELV Cable lying (F.O.C, CAT6, CAT6A, RG6, Fire-Resistant Cables, LSZH, STP, RS485.
✓ LV Cable lying (3x400 mm2 / 3kv), DC Cable lying (6 mm2), Earth Cable lying (16 mm2)
Auxiliary Cable lying (4x35 mm2 / 3kv), (2x2.5 mm2 / 1kv).
✓ MV Cable lying (3x185 mm2 / 33kv), (3x400 mm2 / 33kv), (1x500 mm2 / 33kv).
✓ HV Cable lying (1x630 mm2 / 132kv).
✓ Installation of Complete Lighting system.
✓ Laying and provide optical fiber and land line telephone cable.
✓ install of earth pit.
✓ Responsible for solar setup with manual sun tracker.
✓ Responsible for the installation of Solar panel.
✓ Responsible for installation of Lighting Control Panel (LCP)
✓ Installation of fire detection & alarm system and lighting system.
✓ Coordinate with Client representatives, QA/QC Inspectors regarding the implementation and
quality of works.
✓ Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the electrical
department
✓ Keep record of all stock and supplies, including companys electrical equipments.
✓ Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best
practices.
✓ Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents
and mishaps are prevented.
✓ Take steps to prevent fire outbreaks by making appropriate recommendations to management
✓ Purchase electrical fittings and components or supervise the staff charged with the responsibility.
Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making
necessary recommendations
