Supervise team and Support Professionals and coaching of Insurance Team
- Responsible for successful delivery of Insurance Services
- development and implementation of insurance services policies, processes, and procedures.
Maintain insurance policies and procedures that are in compliance with legal, contractual, and ethical best practices.
- Development and implementation of insurance service level agreements for each process area.
- Assist with day-to-day operational and system-related inquiries
- Implement best practices in the areas of quoting, binding and underwriting.
- Provide escalation support and assist in troubleshooting root cause for escalated issues
- Receive directions from General Manager regarding budget, target, strategy, etc. and assigns tasks accordingly to operations officers
- Manage insurance data reports from officers, and report them to General Manager
- Oversee policy histories and expiry of contracts, and interfere in remedial measures when rates are high
- Coordinate between the technical department and the business development department to ensure proper running of business

- Underwriting Fire, Miscellaneous, Engineering, Motor
- Conducting comprehensive underwriting review of new business and renewals.
- Telephonic & Email correspondence with clients regarding renewals, new business and
day to day activities and providing amicable solution to their queries.
- Participate to inscribe underwriting manuals for the department as a member of
underwriting committee.
- Exercises decision-making within established authority.
- Document, scrutinize and apply the underwriting policies to the best of my abilities.
- Reviewing and assessing risk, depicting changes in risk demographics and nature on
renewals and submit the report to senior management.
- Interacts with clients to obtain needed information/documentation for underwriting
reviews.
