o Management of all 33kV, 11kV & 6.6kV network operations of DEWA using SIEMENS Spectrum Power 4 SCADA.
o Monitors and ensures reliable electricity supply within the prescribed values of power quality and giving priority to security and safety.
o Quick & Safe restoration of supply after breakdown of 33/11/6.6 kV circuits/transformers.
o Outage Management (Preventive & corrective)
o Preparing Reports on Daily basis regarding System Operations.
o Compliance to procedures and safety standards during all switching operations.
o Update the Database for Distribution Operation Systems in order to take necessary actions & follow up.
o Follow and adhere to the Integrated Management System Manual as per DEWA's safety standards.
System Operation:
Monitoring and Controlling of 220/132/11kV network.
Network Planning:
•Developed model for studying load flow and 3 phase short circuit levels for 220kV transmission network using ETAP 7.0
•Developed EHT optimal power flow model to utilize KESC generating stations to its full capacity with minimum transmission losses.
•Performed transient stability analysis of BQPS 2 plant of 560 MW power plant using PSS/E.
•Developed Black start procedure for KESC after evaluating and studying the load requirements, sequence of plant operations and restrictions of transmission network.
Network Application Engineer:
•I am a team member to maintain Energy Management System & Network applications. I am also working to fully implement AGC application in Karachi Electric Supply Company.
•I am certified “Network Application” engineer trained by Dr. Vladimir, NA expert from Siemens Germany.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (with Distinction), December 2009 83.64% (3.7GPA)
