Ensuring implementation of the HSE guidelines.
Organising safety inspections / audits, occupational health surveys, surveillance and field auditing for compliance.
Perform New-Hire Orientation training. Provide training to employees on relevant HSE regulations and Company programs
Conducting investigation of all incidents / occupational health issues and suggesting recommendations.
Developing Contractor Safety Management guidelines and number of safety motivational / training programs for improved safety culture in the organisation.
Pursuing zero uncontrolled spills, zero environmental complaints and practicable zero harm to the environment.
Maintaining environmental incident and near miss hazard register and a corrective and preventative action register
Co-ordinate and monitored the "Permit to Work" system.
Monitor and Manage HSE practioners in delivering the safety audits as scheduled;
Investigate the root cause HSE complaints put forward by staff members, customers,
Clients and contractors and report the result to the QHSE manager Follows up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensures that any certification requirements are complied with.
Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities whilst hazardous work situations.
Assist local management in the preparation and presentation of field HSE meetings.
Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses.
Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action
recommendations;
Co-ordinate Mock drills to ensure highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintain records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;
Supervises the regular inspection of fire fighting, safety and emergency response equipment.
Ensure client operational employee’s contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions.
Responsible for preparing written weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance.
Report to the HSE Manager weekly to develop, implement and monitor Company HSE policy are adequately adhered to.
To assist the Company in complying with current HSE legislation and/or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of staff, workers and visitors;
To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization;
To investigate and report on all serious/critical personal injury accidents occurring to students, staff and workers or visitors to the appropriate senior official, and to assist in the investigation of all accidents/incidents that result in substantial damage to Company vehicles and property;
To investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions to the HSE Manger and/or other appropriate senior staff;
To respond to employees’ safety concerns;
To conduct, as necessary, the safety inspection of any Company facility;
To coordinate registration and removal of hazardous waste;
To arrange for Occupational Health and Safety trainings;
To coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, work place inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures;
Also awareness about "Industrial Safety" and "Environmental safety".
The responsible is to prepare all "Preventive Maintenance Schedule" regarding HSE predicament;
To implement the "HSE" training. Waste disposal& liaison with the authorities;
