• Execute preventive/corrective and breakdown maintenance of equipment, systems and other assigned areas in order to reduce downtime.
• Routine check and maintaining of utility such as electricity, diesel and water to ensure effective running conditions of pumps, motors, chillers, RO pant and other equipment’s.
• Maintaining and monitoring the chemical dosing and stock levels of chemicals of cooling and chilled water systems in order to maintain good quality of water as prescribed by the water treatment company
• To ensure submission of reports related to shift activities, safety and equipment conditions of assigned areas on time.
• To ensure submission of monthly report to client at the end of month
• To provide trainings and tool box talk to technicians weekly
• Preparation of standard operating procedures and other engineering related documents pertaining to areas under control as required.

• Use, request and maintain inventories of consumables, spares, chemicals and other related engineering materials required for the efficient execution and maintenance activities in assigned areas.
• Plan and execute engineering projects of assigned areas as required.
As a Site Engineer I am performing and supervising following jobs for AB CONTRACTING at SAR project.
Routine Maintenance:
• Routine visits of sites on regular basis in which my field staff cleans the generators from in-side and out-sides, clean the intake Air Filter.
• Check the oil level, battery fluid, coolant and top up if required. Run the idle generator and make sure both generators are in working condition. Take readings of running hours, temperature, oil pressure, voltage, amps, load (KVA), battery volts and record on log book available at the site as well as report back to Control Center of main contractor.
Preventive maintenance:
• Replace Oil with fresh oil, lube oil filter, fuel filter and fuel water separator filter, maintain the level of coolant and battery level
• Replaced fan belt and air filter if the condition is deteriorated otherwise after every six months these should be replaced.
• Check battery terminals and clean all corrosion, accumulation of anti-conduction elements.
• Check power, battery connections so that no loose connections remain.
Corrective Maintenance:
As soon as the any failure alarm is noticed in OCC, inform area supervisor about the failure and nature of alarm. The area supervisor will take immediate action to rectify the failure by sending team to the site and team will clear fault as early as possible (within 2.5 hours).
Testing & commissioning of genset of ATS & fuel tank:
Testing &Commissioning of Genset, ATS & Fuel Tank comprises on following.
Genset Testing:
• Start genset for 10 minutes and check output voltage & frequency.
• Check under speed shutdown & over speed shutdown, voltage shutdown & over voltage shutdown, oil pressure shutdown.
• Check over temperature shutdown, emergency stop shutdown, Start and stop genset in manual mode.
• Check alternator charger voltage and alternator charger amps, start and stop genset in auto mode, starter battery (Specific Gravity) of genset.
• Check auto change over master to slave and slave to master, Check switching of generator at the end of duty cycle, fuel system during engine running, coolant system during engine running.
• Check the exhaust during engine running, fuel gauge calibration (check sensor for 25%, 50%, 75% & 90% sense level of fuel, low fuel shutdown by manual float switch operation, low fuel level alarm by manual float operation.
• Check fuel pump operation start/stop by manual operation of cut in float switch, exhaust system and hot air system.
• Check fuel system and engine coolant system, cabling to ATS & power cable.
RFI of genset:
As a project engineer I am also responsible to pass the RFI of Gensets, ATS & Fuel Tank. Before consultant examine we have needed to fulfill following requirements.
• Generator G1 & G2 installed on foundation properly.
• Fuel Tank installed on foundation properly.
• ATS installed inside the shelter.
• Power cable from G1+G2 to ATS laid and terminated.
• Control cable from G1+G2 to ATS laid and terminated.
• Fuel sensor cable installed and terminated properly.
• Fuel piping between G1+G2 and fuel tank complete.
• Check labeling of cables, breakers, relays, switches and equipment’s.
Dc project for Army Air Base:
• Installation ofDcpanel.
• Installation of rectifier module per module 2kw, invertors, battery panel.
• Output power supply of rectifier was 48vdc, Output of inverter was 220vac.
• Output constant supply to telecom system for Radar communication
