A service engineer for heavy machinery is a professional responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of large and complex industrial equipment and machinery. This role is critical in industries such as construction, manufacturing, where heavy machinery plays a crucial role in operations. Mainly in NEOM TROGENA Project.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery to identify and address potential issues before they lead to breakdowns or failures. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in heavy machinery and develop effective repair solutions. Replace worn-out or damaged components, such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components, ensuring that replacements are of the correct specifications.
Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods, carry out routine maintenance
work and respond to equipment faults diagnose breakdown problems, fit new parts and
make sure equipment is working correctly, carry out quality inspections on jobs
liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production
colleagues and arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components control
maintenance tools, stores and equipment monitor and control maintenance costs deal
with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs, improve health and safety policies
and procedures ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in
case of breakdowns.
As an internee, I learned about the working cycle to generate electricity and the safety measures and principles.
My responsibilities is to provide with complete solution from supply, installation
and maintenance to support clients through any phase in project and provide
Alternative Energy solutions to consumer of all the level.
As a service engineer, I have to survey different sites and have calibrate, repair or
replace the instruments, for example Electrical Calibrations, Pressure Calibrations,
Flow Calibrations etc.
I have completed my Final Year Project in the field of Automation and My project was " PLC BASED PAINT MIXING PLANT"
