• Worked on ADS, ISDN, UTP, STP, NETWORK, ADVANCE SWITCHES, ROUTERS, LAN/WAN, Telephone Exchanges & Wireless Equipment’s.
• Designed, Setup and Installation Telephone Exchange especially Panasonic PABX at different projects like TAKREER, PO Flare, Baraka NPP and Shah Gas Projects Abu Dhabi and maintain call log software.
• Install, Configure and troubleshoot Company’s legacy Systems PROCESS (Project Control System), DPMS (DESCON Progress Monitoring System), MMS (Material Management System), ITS (Inspection and Test Solutions), GDMS (Attendance System), GDES Plus (Equipment Management System), SMART (System for Material Acquisition, Retrieval and Transaction), ACCPAC (Financial System) and any other system required at Project Site.
• Successfully implement Internet security, Antivirus and monitoring application for domain users.
• Ensure every machine has the latest Antivirus definition and executes Antivirus scans on each machine on weekly basis maintaining log for the same.
• Installation of and configuration of Email Application of MS Outlook 2013 and sometime IBM Lotus Notes on PC, Laptop/Notebook and Mobile.
• Troubleshoot Networking, Hardware, Software, Operating System problems and user queries and provides technical guidance to internal and external customers as well as Improve resilience of the current environment.
• Ensure revision/version control of the Descon software systems. Coordinate with the Head Office to ensure that only correct revision/version of the software system(s) is being used at all machines and also provide system maintenance and upgrade tasks.
• Ensure effective and optimized usage of servers and workstations by monitoring data being stored at them.
• Manage data storage, data security and integrity.
• Provide Descon internal System trainings to new users at project sites.
• Planning for Network Enhancements and upgrades according to project requirements.
• Provide Technical support ( Hardware, Software, Applications, Networks)
• Co-ordinate with ICT and PMS departments for implementation of company applications and IT policies like UBS Control Policies, Antivirus Policy, URL’s Policy, IP Policy, Welcome Note Policy and Screen Saver Policy.
• Arranging meetings with all Business area via voice & Video conferencing.
• Install & Configure Shah Gas Descon Camp Surveillance System (CCTV Camera) with Third party team.
• Maintains backup of all databases of software systems on daily basis and maintains log for the backups and upload it on Descon Cloud network.
• Manages all user queries, new requirements of software systems and logs these queries for informing them to the Application Developers through Online Issue tracker service.
• Providing technical support for network systems.
• Installed and configured the whole Bank LAN network including Computers, Routers, DSL connection, manageable switches for WAN/LAN networking, Printers, scanner with electronic document feeder.
