Responsibilities:
Working as a Senior Design Engineer involvement in basic and detail engineering activities
• Basic & Detail Engineering of Electrical Distribution systems of Oil & Gass / Power Plants. The area of work includes System Studies (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor acceleration & Protection coordination), Earthing & Lightning Protection, Construction Layouts, Protection Systems Design, MV/LV Switchgear Sizing & Selection, Cable Sizing etc. Vendor support for procurement of Plant equipment and overall engineering management of projects as Lead Electrical Engineer.
• Preparation of specifications/requisitions/data sheets & technical bid evaluation.
• Preparation of electrical BOQs & MTOs.
• Aware and working experience in compliance with international engineering practices, codes and standards Like IEC, NEC, BS, NFPA, IP and GASCO DGS.
• Supervised electrical construction activities, testing and commissioning of switchgears, motors, transformers, low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage cables.
• Co-ordination with clients, vendors, other engineering departments & subcontractors.
• Study of technical specifications/ITB documents to ensure the availability of required design data for design work, coordination with client in case of missing data.

• Scheduling/execution of preventive maintenance and operation of gen sets.
• Trouble shooting with the help of schematic drawings
