I am working as Electrical & Maintenance Engineer at Attieh Steel Limited. My prime responsibilities include the followings:
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and responding immediately to machinery breakdowns.
• Inspection of drives, motors, gears, belts, fluid levels, filters, and performing other maintenance actions.
• Assemble, install, and repairing of machinery or equipment included all relevant wiring and pneumatic system.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure that all machines, generators, compressor and crane continue to run smoothly.
• Work closely with plant engineering and production department to provide reliable support systems for operations.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure all systems are working properly and serve on-call 24/7 in the event of emergency.
• Analysis of electrical consumption and consumed demand to maintain daily power consumption report.
• Inspection and monitoring of safety systems, HVAC equipment and fire system.
• Consult with equipment manufacturers and appropriate specialists to resolve equipment problems.
• Provide fire safety awareness to all departments to maintain proper safety and security practices.
• Coordinate with designer, project engineer if there are any related or revise plan.
• Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment.
• Supervise manpower, monitor and inspect their work progress.
• Coordinate with procurement team regarding material requisition.
• Perform troubleshooting problems on various types of equipment.
• Checking the entire work with approved drawings.
• Handling of electrical load as per requirements.
• Assist visiting specialist engineers when necessary.
• Handling of electrical load as per requirements.
• Check and verify all drawing.
• Evaluate quotation related to Electrical work.
• Maintain proper safety and security practices.
• Monitor and inspect work progress on the job site.
• Supervise manpower & inspect their work.
• Checking the entire work with approved drawings.
Control and mange the distribution of electric supply.
• Participate in new product introduction which involves prototype design, debug, failure analysis and design iteration.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
• Prepare project cost and work-time estimates.
• Plan, schedule and monitor work of support personnel to assist supervisor.
• Assembly and testing of electrical instruments.
During study got internship in Sitara Energy and Thermal Power Station ( in GENCO III) and also participate in project competition as a executive member of IEEE.
