I have joined AJM Kooheji as Assistant Manager Finance, I have been working with Finance Controller and main responsibilities includes:
• Maintaining accounting records as per international reporting standards. (IAS, IFRS) and ensuring the accuracy of the same.
• Monthly management reporting and trend analysis.
• Following the deadline of Group MIS report (Balance sheet, Income statement & revenue stream analysis).
• Monitoring inventory levels, determining re-order quantity and re-order level.
• Calculating the notional charge over excess inventory in order to discourage divisions keeping high stock levels.
• Critically evaluating each order study, before approving the same.
• Ensuring the proper documentations and ensuring controls.
• Ensuring accurate journal entries and monthly trending in order to evaluate any anomaly.
• Intercompany reconciliation and invoicing.
• Bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliations and GIT reconciliation.
• Timely finalization of audit reports of all group companies.
• Implementation of Group policies though out the company.
• Achievement of cost reduction, by streamlining the processes and removal of duplication of work.
• Finalization of Audit and regular reporting of management accounts.
• Monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks.
• Collaborate with the other finance department members to support overall department goals and objectives.
• Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.
