• Study and Review the finalization of power supply Master Plans of Major projects by assessing the Total Connected Load (TCL) in line with type of development and the required transmission substations (400 kV & 132 kV) along with the plots and their phasing plans.
• Preparation of Major Project Reports for DEWA Management addressing the power supply issues and highlighting the existing, available and the required power infrastructure.
• Preparation of correspondence between major project developers / consultants and DEWA internal Departments / Divisions regarding the power supply issues, infrastructure developments and following-up on Minutes of the meetings.
• Study and Review the NOC applications on SAP CRM for the connection of power supply requirements received from individual plot owners in line with the approved power supply Master Plan and to maintain NOC database, tracking sheet, filing, etc.
• Visit construction sites to assess the realistic developments of the project developments and to observe conditions impacting construction phasing and power supply phasing and transmission substation activities.
• Organizing meetings and provide required technical assistance during the meetings with major developers and their consultants for streamlining the power supply issues for the project developments.

• Project planning studies (TOL of 380/132/33/13.8 KV Substations) and reports to generate project scope justification and create necessary budget items for approval and awarding of contracts to contractors on Turnkey basis.
• Review of Tender documents, base drawings, technical submittals during project execution.
• Preparing Schemes (MV and LV for Transmission and Distribution Projects), BOQ items for multi-million Saudi Riyals projects for system improvements and expansion.
• Plan, design, and model all necessary aspects of a downstream electrical distribution network
• Request for Project Material using SAP based Unified Material System (UMS).
• Providing technical support to various customers like SIEMENS, ABB, SAUDI ARAMCO, ALMARAI, SABIC, SSEM, AL BABTAIN, MILITARY FACTORY and other Government Agencies.
• Planning of new Substations (380/132/33/13.8 KV) for new load growth and interconnection with existing networks.
• Forecasting of new load growth and bulk loads in coordination with Bulk consumers (4MVA or above).
• Calculation of Diversity factor, Demand factor, Coincident factor, Total Connected Load, Ampere ratings, Voltage Drop for the purpose of reinforcement of existing Distribution network.
• Assisting with transmission (132 KV and 380 KV) planning activities as needed.
• Preparation of Technical Reports to Management and seeking approval for Project execution.
• Holds regular Project status and Review meetings with all the stakeholders including Consultants Contractors and other internal departments.
• Site visits and recording of Project deliverables and follow ups with contractor.
• Project Resource Management and Scheduling GANTT charts using Primavera 6.0.
• Checking of Invoicing documents submitted by Contractors for financial payments.
• Review and approval of Punch list submitted by contractor for final payments.
• Asset Management in line with Business strategy of the Company.
• Study of RCA and EHAZOP during the Project execution.
• Monitoring system reliability (SLD on Micro station) by conducting field engineering for the purpose of designing new and/or upgrading existing underground and overhead electric distribution and transmission facilities.
• Scheduling of Inspection Test Plan and Final Acceptance of contract jobs/projects.
• Preparation of PTW, LOA, SFT, EI to carry out the electrical jobs.
• Close coordination with Government Agencies for Right of ways.
