RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Installations, Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance of Electrical substation and Grid station in compliance with ANSI/IEEE standards
• Testing and Commissioning of HT/LT System & Transformer, CT, PT Testing, Scheme Testing, Line, Generator Protection Relays
• Project review and study of Electrical Installation, Substation Equipment, Switchgear and Protection Schemes
• Scheme Check of Electrical system (Grid station) and verify the system according to drawing.
PROJECTS:
1. Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 11KV Switchgears of 132/11KV GIS Substation at Aga Khan University Hospital & Medical Foundation, Karachi.(Done with Coordination of SIEMENS Pakistan and K-Electric)
Following activities performed on the above mention project
Testing & Commissioning of Power Transformer (20 MVA):
• Insulation Resistance and Polarization Index Test
• Winding Resistance Measurement
• Transformer Turns Ratio Test
• Vector Group Test (By Test Set and By Manual Method)
• Capacitance and Dissipation factor test
• Testing of Alarm/Trip Circuits of Oil, Temperature, Buchholz Relay and PRD.
Testing & Commissioning of LV/MV Switchgear:
• Contact Resistance Test of VCB’s and Busbar.
• Operational & Interlock Checks of VCB’s,
• Insulation Resistance & Hi-Pot Test of VCB, Busbar and Power Cables
• CT, PT Ratio, Polarity Test and Secondary circuit verification.
Testing & Commissioning of Protection Relays:
• Testing & Commissioning of Over Current & Earth Fault Relay (7SJ602 ).
2. Testing and Commissioning of Medium Voltage Switchgear and LOW VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR / MCC / SUB DISTRIBUTION BOARDS at OIL & GAS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LTD. - (KPD-TAY)
Testing & Commissioning of LV/MV Switchgear:
• Contact Resistance Test of Bus Tie Duct.
• Scheme, Operational & Interlock Checks of VCB’s & ACB's,
• Insulation Resistance & Hi-Pot Test of VCB, Bus bar and Power Cables
• CT, PT Ratio and Polarity Test,
Testing & Commissioning of Protection Relays:
• Testing & Commissioning of Over Current & Earth Fault Relay (7SJ602 & 7sj8031 ).
3. Testing of 11KV/415V Substation, RMUs and Distribution Transformer at Khairpur Industrial Park.
• Secondary circuit verification, Ratio and Polarity test of VT and CT, Overcurrent Relay Testing, Functional Testing of Panel
• IR Testing of Distribution Transformer and Power Cables.
• Hipot Testing of Main BB and Power Cables.
4. Testing and Commissioning of 11KV/415V Substation at PAF Base MirpurKhas.
• Secondary circuit verification, Ratio and Polarity test of VT and CT.
• Testing of CDG61 Relay
• Testing and Commissioning of 500KVA Distribution Transformer
• Testing and Commissioning of JEI LV Panel along with its Distribution Board.
5. Testing and Commissioning of 11KV/415V Substation at Naveena Export Limited Lahore
• Cable Scheduling and Supervision of Cable Laying
• Insulation Resistance Test of Main BB, Functional Testing of Panel
• CT & PT Secondary circuit verification & Testing of Protection Relays (7sj6025)
6. Testing Generator Management Relay (GE489) and Synchro Check Relay (Woodward) at KTGTPS Karachi.

• Generator differential test
• Reverse power flow test
• o/c, s/c and e/f test
• o/v and u/v test
• over frequency and under frequency test
• unbalanced load test
• condition of synchronous check(frequency, Phase Angle, Voltage magnitude and Phase sequence)
7. Testing of Protection Relays(s/c, o/c & e/f) Siemens Type (7sj6025) at Gulf Sugar Mill- Ghotki.
8. Testing of Protection Relays(s/c, o/c & e/f) Areva DX-1 at FFC Energy Limited- Nooriabad.
9. Testing of Micom Relays P343 and P127 and also TTR and IR Testing of 2000KVA Dry Type Transformers at Aero Royce JV Limited Kemari Karachi.
10. Calculation, Protection Relay Settings and Co-ordination Studies of Substation 1 & 6 at SAPT Kimari.

• Responsible to supervise the Site Assessment and prepare the suitable proposal for the client.
• Solar System Designing(Solar Panel selection, Battery sizing, Inverter selection, charge controller section)
• Financing of All types of Solar Systems (BOQ)
• Installation of ON GRID, OFF GRID and HYBRID SYSTEM
• Commissioning of ON GRID, OFF GRID and HYBRID SYSTEM

• Design and Installed 160KW Grid Tied Solar system for Royal Banglows.
• Design and Installed 12KW On Grid system for ARTISTIC MILLINER
• Design and Installed 10KW On Grid system for Grey house
