o Looking after the portfolio of more than 400 M which includes cardiovascular products
o Managing a team of more than 75 sales staff and 2 Product Managers

o Launched the new concept of True Probiotic in Pakistan

• Group Product Manager: Searle Pharma
o Launched a new product in the segment of cardiology in March 2008.
o Responsible for managing a proton pump inhibitor (Anti-ulcerant) with the name of Selanz SR.
o Responsible for ARTHROTEC 50; an Anti-Rheumatic with Cytoprotection, from July 2005 to September 2007.
o Responsibilities: • To manage the creation, preparation, planning and execution of marketing plans for the mentioned products.
• To develop an overall promotional program for the assigned products.
• To communicate product plans to sales force and senior management.
• To prepare the budget, monitor variances and take corrective actions.
• To analyze market research data and interact with Market Research to measure return on investment of marketing programs and other product related primary and secondary research.
• To participate in the training of new hires in the sales force.
• To interact with all functions with in the company to ensure Product Marketing Plan objectives.
• To solve objections and queries on the product from customers.
o Achievements: • Successful Development of Marketing Strategies for Arthrotec 50, Selanz SR & No-spa.
• Total sales responsibilities of Rs. 130 millions / year.
• Participation as a Key Member in Orthocon, Hepatology and Gynae conferences.
• Successful switching to OTC of No-Spa.
• Launch of No-Spa Forte; line extension of No-Spa, which recorded a sale of 19 million in its 1st year.
• Participation in the 1st Searle - Sanofi task force meeting in Istanbul, Turkey in 2003.
• Presentation of marketing plan of No-Spa in 1st Primary Health Care Meeting in Bali, Indonesia in 2005.
