Responsible for Pre-audits of all the payments made from finance department
Carry out Post audit, Follow Up Audit & Re-Follow Up audit for all the Group
Companies and all divisions within the company along with audit team.
Compliance audit for Cash In Transit Insurance Policies, Insured Cash
limits/Vehicle & Vault
Compliance audit for Guarding services to external clients i.e Foreign Embassies,
Consulates & Banks
Identify weakness in internal control systems and suggest improvements.
Review and suggest the improvement in current Sops for business divisions and
departments.
Identify the internal control weaknesses in the current system and
suggests improvements to Chief Internal Auditor
Quarterly stock taking
Carry out special Accounting/Finance related assignments as and when needed.
I was working on a SAP accounting software implemented by the Group, I
was responsible for all posting into the SAP and my major responsibilities
included;
Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing
To complete and maintain sales invoices and reports
Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records
are correct
Managing petty cash transactions
Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries
Work as an Audit Team member in the NZAJ & Co. Islamabad. During this period of
time,
• I follow my team through the planning, execution and conclusion stages of the audit
engagement.
• Assessing risk and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance.
• Advising client on various accounting and audit related matters and providing them
assistance in the preparation of the financial statements in the light of IAS/IFRS.
I performed audit review assertions and analytically procedures on different heads of
balance sheet and income statement on my work assigned to me, during this period.
• I am also actively involved in finalization and reporting stage with my managers and
supervisors.
Worked as an audit junior on different audit assignment, learned how to work on expenses details.
Bookkeeping on Accounting Software (Quick books). Assessment of Internal Control Compliance .
Conducted an annual audits of different NGO`s operating in Islamabad
including READ FOUNDATION.
