Interbank USD/PKR dealing in ready, forward and swap market with average daily turnover of more than USD 100 million.
Manage USD/PKR swap book (amounting to USD500 million in size) through gapping strategies to take advantage of expected favorable price movement
Act as a price maker for USD/PKR trades.
Articulate market views and translate into trading strategies
Formulate funding and gapping strategies to take advantage of market movements.
Generate additional FX Income through proprietary trading within trading limits allotted.
Help FX sales desk in quoting most profitable and competitive prices to customers
Arbitrager, looking for and have taken benefit of arbitrage opportunities between Money Markets and FX.
Quote foreign currency buying and selling rates to inter-bank counter parties and corporate clients
Ensure efficient and effective management of the bank exchange position and swap book together with foreign currency liquidity management in the nostro accounts.
Quote foreign currency deposit and loan rates to branches and corporate customers, keeping in mind overall banks portfolio of assets and liabilities and current money markets conditions.
Generate Revenue through the execution of client orders as well as hedging of client positions.
Ensure compliance with all the internal risk management and external regulatory parameters on day to day FX transactions, supporting and covering customer transactions generated by the treasury marketing unit.
Prepare reports and markets updates for ALCO.
Involved in developing and upgrading the current treasury system (Webtech & Opics). Guiding Developers requirements of treasury in new system for better user interface and more information availability to treasury dealers.
