Working in Dubai Customs as an on-site resource on Refund and Claim system.
▪ Led a team of three developers and delivered a new release every quarter.
▪ Studied and analyzed a legacy project and conducted knowledge transfer sessions from its original vendor
which lead to the successful transaction of the project to my company for support and development.
Currently working in Arpatech and my job responsibilities includes research, design, code and unit test software, meeting with the client, train new resources and resolve system defects and perform bug fixes during testing phase
Key accomplishments:
Learned and implemented the project’s building block in Mule ESB, providing fellow team members a reference implementation of this unfamiliar technology and helped the company to secure the project.
Researched and designed an alternate architecture of the software application, helping the team to refine and finalize the software architecture.
Selected to be a part of the team sent to meet the client abroad, helped the team to elicit the client’s requirements and present the solution.
Revamped the client side JavaScript of the project into a whole JavaScript framework with reusable components, resulting in increased developers productivity and decreased number of bug reports.
Responsible for software development, testing and documentation of research-based projects and projects for commercial entities. Additional responsibilities included conducting independent and team-based research and development, maintenance and update of company’s website.
At CDC my responsibilities included development and unit testing of new software modules, database designing and writing of optimized queries and
stored procedures, participating in software requirement gathering sessions with the user and the analysis team, contribute in building software architecture and design with the architecture team, assisting the configuration management team and database management team in building promotions and deploying software on test and live servers.
Key accomplishments:
Been complemented by my supervisor and management on customizing a 3rd party CRM to achieve desired privacy requirements, saving a few hundred dollar bill from the vendor.
