Responsible for all the inspections related to electrical installations, Testing and commissioning.
To submit the RIT/RFI to client/consultant in coordination with concerned site/project engineer.
To conduct the inspections of all the electrical materials/equipment’s received.
Coordinate with Project Management, Client, Consultant and sub-contractors to perform sequence based execution/inspections and eliminate problems arising at different field work
To study the BOQ, Technical Specifications of the projects to prepare the QIP/ITP, Method statements in coordination with the senior QA/QC Engineer/Project Engineer.
To ensure that the current approved documents are in use at project site in accordance with the master list of documents.
To prepare the daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, materials and non conformances.
To ensure that all the activities are being executed as per the approved method statements, drawings and quality standards.
To assistance the Sub-Co/Procurement department for technical evaluation of the subcontractors/suppliers in accordance with the laid down criteria.
Ensure that all the IMTEs in use are calibrated and with valid certificates.
To prepare the weekly surveillance reports, non-conformances and verifications of all corrective actions.
To prepare the testing & commissioning method statements with coordination of senior QA/QC Engineer/Vendor and Project engineer.
Installation inspection of MCC, Switchboard (/11/6.6/0.415 KV), Transformers, Generators, switchgear LV/MV Panels, Bus-Bar, NGR Panels, SDB, MDB and related electrical circuitries.
Installation inspection of Switch racks (with all Panels, DB’s, JB’s, DP, LCP), RTU, ESD (Emergency Shutdown system), DCS/SCADA packages for process monitoring & control.
Survey for the 11KV overhead network installation.
Installation inspections of the Cable trays/Ladders, Ducts, Conduits for cable lay.
Control and Power cable Laying/termination inspection and Testing like (Continuity, IR Test, Hi-POT)
Installation inspection of the Earthing system for LV/ELV systems and inspection of Earth Resistance Test.
Installation/Testing inspection of the Lightening system.
Installation inspection of the lighting systems of the plants.
Installation/test inspection of Motors(Continuity, Insulation Resistance test)
To attend the Factory Acceptance test (FAT) for DBs, Switchgears, MCCs and other Electrical Equipment.
Monitoring and performing the Installation inspection of the field instruments and to witness their calibration.
Installation/inspection of Communication system like PAGA, PABX, LAN, FAS Systems, Fire suppression system (FM200), Video Surveillance System.
To participate in the loop checking (Cold and Hot Loop test) during commissioning.
Final Walk down of Hand over System (HOS) with Client and to prepare commissioning reports with coordination of the senior QA/QC Engineer and Project Engineer.
To prepare final quality dossiers for submission to the client.
To lead the maintenance team and make possible the availability of utility services during and after the production according to plant’s load requirements.
To discuss and finalize the maintenance plan of LT Switchgear, utility equipment/machines like Boiler, Generators, Air compressors, Chilling Units, Cooling Towers/Condensers and process equipment like pasteurizers/UHTs, Separators, Homogenizers with Technical manager.
Knowledge regarding the troubleshooting of PLC, s (AllenBradelly Rockwell SLC 5000 & GE Fanuc 90-30 version) and PLC’s loop testing.
Energy consumption analysis (Diesel/HFO/Natural Gas at the plant).
To generate the feasibility reports for future projects to be planned.
Responsible for preventive/Corrective maintenance of E&I Equipment like (Transformers, UPS, LT Panels, Cables) as per schedule to ensure trouble free operation.
Generated the technical as well as commercial report for Independent 1MW WPDA feeder connection for company.
Identification of the equipment wise energy load across the plant.
Monitoring of the effectiveness of operational hours of equipment with coordination of process personnel.
Evaluation of the generator and boiler performance/efficiency (comparison of the energy yield and fuel consumption).
Complete installation/automation of 11k Liter milk tank and synchronization with UHT plant through SLC 5000(Rockwell) PLC by an auto-transfer panel.
To coordinate with Manager Purchase and store in charge for material availability.
Supervised the Installation & commissioning of 2x1250KVA LV generators at the plant to overcome the deficiency of electrical power at the plant.
Supervised the Installation & commissioning of 1x150KW Air Compressor (BOGE/Atlascapco) at the plant to overcome the deficiency of compressed air at the plant.
Staff training and awareness plan specifically regarding the preventive maintenance.
