I am responsible for prototype tools evaluation and maintain its run history until its commercialised. My job is to identify and eliminate any non-conformities and identify root cause and implement necessary corrective actions using SCAT (Schematic cause analysis technique) for any failure that may occur during field trials.
•My current role involves the development and implementation of new technology for oilfield services. Working as a Technical Expert I provide products and solutions to address operating company challenges and needs for Well Abandonment, Fishing, Wellbore Departure and Drilling tools which includes; shock/ impact tools and underreaming products.
•I assist with prototype applications and new product market introductions. This includes defining product requirements and communicating these to the global HQ organization in Houston, Texas. I am involved in field test planning and execution to ensure successful completion of test plan requirements.
•I provides technical support to the field sales organization and to clients. This includes sales presentations and drafting technical proposals and procedures.
•I lead tool failure investigations and the remedial work action plan
•I analyse, benchmark and evaluate the drilling tools performance and initiate new/ modification and design requests. This includes participation in internal design reviews from concept through prototyping.
•I lead projects from concept stage to design and through field testing. This has included responsibility for creating the product Operation & Maintenance Manuals which are supported by Risk Assessments for the product life cycle.
•Quality, cost effective and efficient support to the field. Keep track of budget, schedule (MS Project) for timely completion of the project. Supervise and co-ordinate with 3rd party sub-contractors to ensure timely deliverables in accordance with Project Schedule and budget. Providing technical input to support tenders and Business development team.
•Work as a Bridge between Engineering and Operations to help developing new tools & technologies. Develops and implements Pre-Job and Post-Job workflows to insure that the level of service provided to our clients is consistent.
•Perform internal and external marketing activities such as technology presentations, lunch and learns, workshops, and technology launches. Create Technical Papers, Case Studies and capture Lessons Learned into InTouch based on the experience from the GeoMarket or location.

I was initially hired to work as a Project Engineer to develop and manage new technologies for Drilling, Well Abandonment & Remedial tools. This was due to my previous Design Engineering and Project Management background.
•I lead few projects from concept stage to design and through Field testing. Some of the projects include design of new whipstocks technology for well bore departure, well abandonment tool for wellhead recovery and surface casing conductor removal project.
•I managed various 3rd party contractors, supervised and co-ordinated with sub-contractors to ensure timely deliverables in accordance with Project Schedule and budget. This was all achieved by maintaining a MS Project for timely completion of the project.
•In order to manage the tools being deployed in the European Union I personally conducted and led the FMECA (failure mode, effects and criticality analysis) and compliance assessments to ensure the equipment met the EU directives and codes. This included the development of the operating procedures and the design of the standard bottom-hole-assembly (BHA) drawing.
•Carried out Factory Acceptance & Load Tests and performed Risk Assessments. Responsible for preparing and proof reading Operation & Maintenance Manuals. Prepared training manuals and give job instructions for workshop and offshore operators before going on a job
•Provided technical support and wrote technical sections on tenders to support our Business development team
