My key responsibilities include:
1) Monthly management reports for its submission to shareholders and annual reporting of standalone and consolidated statutory financial statements for local and international subsidiaries, in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), for its submission to Board of Directors for approval and auditors for auditing purposes
2) Strategic business plans (budgets and forecasts) extended to five years, monthly monitoring of actual results against the business plan and provide assistance in enforcement of mitigation plans (if any) for the cost controls and achievement of targets at individual project level as well as at group level
3) Analytical reports and presentations (including ad-hoc requested reports and presentations) addressed to management, shareholders and Board of Directors for decision-making purposes
4) Quarterly reports to the Board of Directors. I am also attendee to Board of Directors’ meetings, representing finance department (with Group CFO or on his behalf) to assist in decision making
5) Lead co-ordinator for external auditors, internal auditors, government auditors, external valuers and other consultants
6) Investments evaluation, due diligence, financial feasibility and profitability analysis to determine reasonableness of investments / divestments decisions
7) Determine valuations, lease and/or sale pricing of the assets
8) Provide advice for the accounting of complex transactions to achieve the desired results (compliant with IFRS)
9) Review of proposals for new line of business
10) Review of project capital and operating expenditures for Group CFO approval
11) Close and frequent coordination with senior management across Group
12) Review of corporate tax returns for international subsidiaries
13) Implementation and incorporation of VAT statutory requirements
14) Implementation of budgeting and feasibility systems

1) Leading and managing large teams throughout the planning, execution and completion stages of the engagement.

7) Preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local corporate laws, directives of regulatory authorities and policies of the company
8) Preparation of various financial analysis to be presented to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee
9) Providing advisory services to the clients in respect of the accounting treatment of complex transactions, implementation of operational and financial controls, assisting clients to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes
10) On-the-job training and professional development of staff
