• Source and procure civil and architectural materials according to project
specifications and schedules.
• Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs), obtain competitive bids, and
analyze quotations.
• Review technical compliance of materials and compare commercial offers
to ensure best value.
• Track manufacturing and delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on
time and meet project requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, and planning
departments regarding material requirements and approvals.
• Prepare and submit Material Approval Requests (MARs) as per project
requirements.
• Review consultant/client comments on MARs and coordinate with
suppliers for revisions.
• Follow up with consultants and clients to obtain MAR approvals.
• Review Technical Data Sheets (TDS), catalogs, and material specifications
before submission.

• Conduct inspections of civil and architectural works in accordance with
approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with project quality requirements and applicable
standards.
• Inspect blockwork, plastering, painting, waterproofing, flooring, ceilings,
doors, and finishes to ensure compliance with approved drawings,
specifications, and project requirements.
• Verify that all architectural materials delivered to site are approved,
comply with project specifications, and are accompanied by relevant
material approval documents and test certificates.
• Review approved shop drawings, method statements, and material
submittals before inspection.
• Monitor concrete works including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, and
curing activities.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and tolerances of completed works.
• Verify compliance of materials with approved Material Approval Requests
(MARs).
• Review Technical Data Sheets (TDS), test reports, and material certificates.
• Perform daily site quality inspections and monitor construction activities.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and construction teams.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
• Identify non-conforming works and issue Non-Conformance Reports
(NCRs) when required.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Witness field tests and coordinate laboratory testing activities.
• Maintain quality control checklists and inspection reports.
• Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with quality
standards.
• Participate in project handover inspections and snagging/de-snagging
activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and update quality
records.
