Project: C-835- Construction of Diversion for Sewerage Flows from Doha industrial Area to Doha West Sewerage Treatment Work-PS 1A2 to PS 32A. Approximately 12 km of new rising main DN 800 to convey sewerage flow 30000 m3/d. from pumping station PS1A2 to the DWSTW including micro tunneling for major crossing. Upgrading of pumping station PS1A2 to double its capacity from 360 LPS to 720LPS.
Responsibilities: • Monitor compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Reviewing Shop drawing, method statements, ITP, Pre-Qualification documents, material submittals.
• Witness for trial mix for different grade of concrete.
• Supervising the trial pits and bore hole excavation for ground investigation.
• Check the topographic survey and Benchmarks with third party.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Ensure the all material should be approved.
• Supervise Excavation works for open trench, chambers, by pass pump station and micro tunneling shafts.
• Supervise pipe laying, wrapping, pressure test for rising main DN 800
• Supervise chamber construction, by pass pump station construction.
• Supervise the backfilling works for open trench and chambers.
• Supervise micro tunneling activities, Shafts, construction of thrust wall, eye wall, laser alignment, driving, jacking and grouting.
• Check and measure the performed work in his line of work, record and assist the Resident Engineer to display progress vs. programmed work;
• Ensure the all material should be approved.
• Preparing NCR for non-compliance to project specification and drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records
• Preparing daily reports and monitoring contractor main power and equipment’s
• Periodic attendance to witness QC tests and factory visits.
IDRIS LATRAL INTERCEPTOR SEWER LIS-01 CENTRAL DOHA
The project would include the construction of seven lateral interceptor sewers with a total length of about 24 kilometers, including 172 shafts which will convey flows from areas in the center of Doha to the main tunnel
• Monitor compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Reporting process: Assist the ARE with updating progress spreadsheets (i.e., summary of pipe jacking
works, temporary shaft excavation, construction of permanent manholes, site reinstatement, etc.).
• Environment: Assisting Environmental inspections being jointly conducted with Contractor.
• Quality: Prepare SOR related to permanent works in the event that the QCE was unable to identify a specific issue requiring immediate action.
• Communication skills: Fill the role of leading Inspectors as a Senior Inspector on accurate reporting in the absence of the ARE. Proactively get engaged on how to deal with site issues collectively as a group and take the lead of effective reporting to the ARE and RE.
• Observe and monitor operations.
• Describe the activities performed and progress achieved. Note deviations from specified requirements and approved procedures.
• Verify that the waste products of the construction activity (excavated material, trash, dewatering
water, etc.) are disposed of properly.
• Review quality of workmanship, identify problems and facilitate corrections.
• Periodic attendance to witness QC tests and factory visits.
• Notify the RE and/or senior management when an event occurs that has been previously identified as requiring notification. Responsible that the project is carried out in accordance to the plans and specifications.
• Review of contract design drawings & technical issues.
• Monitoring & interpreting the contract design documents and drawings.
• Checking and verifying contractor’s as built drawings, cross sections.
• To oversee quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensure that regulations are adhered to.
• Supervise the 600 mm to 2000 mm dia micro tunneling sewer line including up to 25-meter-deep manholes.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records;

• Supervision of all types of precast elements (Base, Cover Slab, reducer slab and protection slab).

• Supervision of water proofing and Backfilling of manholes, Reinstatement of asphalt.
• Supervision of all types of GRP lamination, and remedial work(injection) for manholes and chambers.
• Witness of CCTV survey and required test (Air test / pressure test)
6 Km deep micro tunneling project for sewerage including manhole construction, 2 km main Rising Di line, 1 km TSE HDP line including chambers, 1 KM flow diversion and OCU for discharge chamber.
Checking of all shop drawing layout, profile, mh section and location of chambers.
Ensure the all material should be approved.
Ensure the Working area should be safe and sound.
Supervision of all Drainage and Sewerage net work(Excavation, Formation, Bedding, Pipe surrounding, pipe laying, Back filling, House connection, Wet connection, Gully connection, fixing of saddle, Potable Network, irrigation net work and all future ducts.
Witness of all types of Test (Air test, Pressure test, concrete test e.t.c).
Supervision the all NDRC works(Drive pit jacking and Grouting)
Supervision of all types of precast elements (Base, Shaft, Cover Slab, reducer slab and protection slab).
Maintain the weekly and monthly progress report.
Reviewing and checking of method statement, main power and equipment list and measurement sheets.
Supervision of Backfilling Sub base, base course and wearing course.
Monitoring the concrete work like slump test concrete, air temperature and shattering work for manholes, chambers and protection slab.

Involved in solving the problems of clashes of different services
Supervision of all future duct crossings.
Preparation of progress reports on weekly and monthly basis
Participation in EHS controlling with safety manager (Bevis lend lease)
Work inspections for material submittals for site works
Supervision of all internal roads and asphalt work.
To manage the construction activities like Sewerage & storm water networks(Excavation, Pipe laying, Manhole Construction, house Connections, inspection chamber and clean out, gullies, and Testing of Lines).
To manage the construction of backfilling and asphalt pavement
Solving the problems raised during construction of different works
To assure the effective QA/QC system
Liaison with subcontractor, consultant & the client
Preparation of shop drawings and monthly bills for Sewerage network and house connection.
Supervision of Sewerage networks including house connections
Addressing the general & technical issues faced by the contractors during work execution
To prepare reports for the managements
Final checking of bills submitted by sub contractors
Inspection of every type of survey work.
To supervise the sub contractor work in earth work drain Parapet wall, retaining wall and burst wall as per approved drawing.
Responsible for to check bending bar and concrete for culvert and causeway.
