• To ensure availability of recommended crop inputs to growers e.g. Seed, Fertilizer, Pesticide and Suckericide etc.
• Organize training & education of field staffs as well as farmers on Sustainable Tobacco Program (STP), Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and the safe / judicious use of agricultural chemicals
• To organize seedbed, plantation and production surveys effectively to ensure forecasting accuracy
• Ensure purchase of target leaf volumes at a planned grade mix, quality and price.
• Deliver the Area Leaf Operation Plan & drive industry Production
• Contribute to deliver the Regional Leaf plan aligned with the Leaf Ops strategy
• Prepare Area Budgets & establish budgetary control through proper monitoring to sustain crop expenses
• Monitor and analyze competition activities in the area to develop & implement effective strategy for leaf buying & other activities
• Maintain EHS standards of the company in the depot premises and area
