* Manufacture Tissue products by supervising staff, Organizing and Monitoring Work Flow.
* To take care of all machines with daily maintenance and Weekly Preventive Maintenance.
* Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
* Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
* Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to requests.
* Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
* Maintains working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
* Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, recommending action.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies.
* Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement, estimate production costs, set production budgets, manage production budgets, implement cost control programs and ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management
• Managing a pool of around 120 employees of different grades including Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians, Skilled and Unskilled Labor.
• Responsible of Production Planning & Execution at maximum efficiency.
• Leading the Maintenance Activities of Cannon Afros Foaming Machines which contains Chillers, Pumps, Hydraulic Units, Mixing Heads and Ducting.
• Leading the Maintenance and Overhauling Team for Molds and Dies of Foaming Department
• Responsible of implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Conception of Energy Conservation Project.
• Inventory Management of approximately 350 Items of Refrigerator.
• Control, plan and devise Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Activities.
• Developing HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) documents.
• Monitoring of hourly production VS hourly production plan.
• To organize daily work management at shop floor.
• Managed various ongoing projects by Planning and scheduling them in Project Management Office
• Formulation of Cost Benefit Analysis of various projects.
• Presiding over Councils and Obeya where progress of team members’ various projects and creative suggestions are monitored.
• Continuously working towards Quality & Productivity improvement.
• 5'S implementation & ensuring EHS Activities (HIRA sheets, HIRA Mapping).
• Material Cost Reduction Projects
• Redesign Material & Manufacturing Methods as per company’s need.
• Prepare, check and verify jigs, fixture, Dies & Molds involved in cost reduction
• Product Quality Enhancement Projects
• Technical Assistance
• Prepare, check and verify engineering documents such as drawings, BOM (bill of materials), component specification, production deviation permit and engineering change orders
• Update Bill of Material (BOM) as per requirement
