- Marketing the company on side logistics services for the trucking, clearance, Air freight, and any other services
based on client’s requests.
- following up and supervise the process for transferring, storing, and processing the LCL containers to ALV.
- following up on the clearing process and finalizing the different types of customs declarations with the clearing
companies.
‐Involved in the day to day operations of the ship including navigational safety, cargo, ballast and tank
inspections.
‐Involved in the analysis and monitoring of operational data to ensure potential problems are averted.
-following up, negotiate, and finalize any claims with terminal for any damage or distraction for the cargoes,
containers and equipment’s, and vessels or any related issue that may happen.
‐Standardize Container Yards, Marine, Gate, by using quality tools and practices, to stabilize day-to-day
decision-making.
‐Arrange and supervise the discharging/loading operations process for RORO, general cargo, and containers
vessels.
‐Arrange for storing different types of vehicles in to the port and other private vendors.
‐Planning the stock movements for imp. And Exp. containers, vehicles, and other type of general cargos.
‐Maintaining the contact with HQ, regional office, vessels masters, and the terminals in order to guarantee
smooth vessels operations.
‐Prepare and publish key terminal metrics including safety, cost, service and productivity.
‐Provide guidance to Masters, Fleet Managers and general management on any special requirements and
Maintain communication with captains and vessel staff and arrange for their shore passes or any special
requirements.
‐Attending meetings or sit on committees established within the Maritime industry to represent the company.
‐Provide advice to vessels and fleet management on cargo requirements, stability and stress and to maintain
all statutory requirements for the vessels and Ensure all vessels operate in an environmentally sound and
safe way.
‐Provide leadership and direction to team.
‐Coach, manage and develop the team through performance measurement tools and individual
development plans.
Support and provide superior service via phones, e-mails and faxes as a receiver and caller
Track shipments and schedule their Pick up's Via Phone
Use questioning and listening skills that support effective telephone communication.
Use an effective approach to handle special telephone tasks like call transfers, taking messages, call backs, holds, interruptions, and unintentional disconnects.
