High Pressure Compressors. ( Burckhardt Compressors )
Booster/Primary compressor of capacity (15 and 67 Tons) are used to compress the ethylene gas from 80 bar to 295 bar for feeding the Hyper compressor. Frame oil, cylinder oil and Machine water used for lubrications and cooling of machine.
K10/K8 types Hyper compressor of capacity 125 Tons and 110 Tons feeding the ethylene gas to reactor at 1500 ~ 3000 bar. Frame oil cylinder oil and packing oil used for proper lubrication and cooling of the machine.
Water jacketed intermediate heat exchangers are used to cool the gas. Konsberg and Prognost are watch dog system for machine temperature and vibration. Compressors safe startup and shut down operated by a sequence.
Reactor / Peroxide and Extruders (Autoclave / Tubular TS /JSW )
High pressure gas react with catalyst in 6 zones of autoclave reactor, and at different zones in tubular reactor. In Autoclave exothermic polymerization reaction heat removed by gas itself and in tubular reactor this is done by different hot waters circulated in the jacket. Tubular TS is divided in 4 zones where peroxide are injected in different ratios.
Four types of peroxide used in polyethylene process and there flow, ratios is controlled by sequence and recipes in the DCS.
LPR Low molecular weight polymers return back to compressor suction after cooling. As that low pressure recycle gas sent back to Booster suction and a little amount sent to flare as a purge.
HPR High pressure recycle gas sent back to hyper suction after cooling and by passing through exchangers and knockout vessels. Polymer after passing single screw extruders ( 11/22/42 tons), granulation and water cooling process send to degassing / Blenders silos by pneumatic conveying compressors.

DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM
DCS consist of two OIS (Operator Interface Station), EWS (Engineering Work Station), ESDS (Emergency Shut Down System), PLC programmable Logic Control) panels.
02 PCU cabinet containing PMU (power mounting unit) and MMU (module mounting unit) with MFP’s, I/O cards, Communication units and termination units.
AMMONIA PLANT
DCS, BAILY INFI-90, Now after BMR, capacity 1630 MT /Day
A circulation of solution in carried out between one absorber and two stripper for absorption and then removal of CO2 from the process gas.
Absorber
Absorption of CO2 from solution favors high pressure and low temperature. Process gas (N2, H2, CO2 etc ) after passing through stripper recoilless and knock out drum come at above ( 8th tray ) of the absorber with 22 kg/cm2 and 130oC temperature respectively. After this counter current flow, CO2 absorbs in solution and process gas come out at the top at 90oC and 0.1% CO2. At the bottom the solution containing absorbed CO2 is rich solution send to both strippers after let downing its pressure from 22 kg/cm2 to 0.6 % kg/cm2 in hydraulic turbine which drives semi lean solution pump.
DAP PLANT
DCS, BAILY INFI-90, capacity 1350 MT/Day and after Revamp work 2232 MT/Day.
Granulation Section ( Large Rotating Equipment, granulator & dryer )
Controlling the granulation through NH3 spargers which are dipped in the granulator bed.
Controlling of slurry and powder from two reactors GPR and DPR and maintain N/P ratio and moisture of product.
Screening and Crushing Section
Separate the ON/OFF size product through four primary double deck screens.
Four chain to chain type crushers for crushing over size product.
