Management of QA & QC related activities of project which include power plants, utilities, industrial, building and infrastructure projects. Activities are as below:
PQP's, ITP's, CL's, T&C procedures & formats development
Review of technical submittals related to E&I equipment & materials
Leading the team of 10+ Engineers dedicated to supervise the construction site
Controlling all Non-Conformance, review & agree Corrective actions, Preventative actions to ensure no re-occurrence of Non-conformance
Inspections at vendor facilities as well as attending FAT activity of E&I equipment
Preparation of weekly, monthly & yearly reports on QC related activities
Evaluation of new suppliers and assessment against the supplier selection criteria
Evaluation of suppliers’ performance and ranking their performance against quality requirements
Evaluate quality project staff performance and identify the performance gap to specify the required training
Verify the quality system effectiveness through internal audits for project departments
Involved in variety of activities including testing of protection and control systems locally manufactured, commissioning at site, testing of protection panels at power plants during annual shutdowns, testing of substation equipment like CT’s VT’s, surge arrestor, CB’s and power transformers, Involved in protection and control panels detail design, issuance of protection relay settings, protection and control system design for complete grid stations including Grid station protection interconnection details, after sales for in service protection relays, technical report writing for consultancy services and technical correspondence with GE and clients.
