• Engage in various quality documentation including review of Contractors ITP, method of statements and other related documents
• Continuous surveillance of on-going site activities, concrete testing laboratory, material yard, controlled temperature storage areas and batching plants to ensure quality as per project standards and specifications.
• Material receiving inspection of various materials for civil works.
• Ensure conformity of construction activities as per Project standards & specifications.
• Conducts civil/building works inspection as per Project standards & specifications for civil and building works.
• Manhole leak test for sanitary, sewer, drainage & catch basins.
• Conducts civil inspection for precast columns & beams for pipe racks. Grouting for pin joints & wet joints for beams & girders.
• Monitors material testing.
• Grouting inspection for various static and rotary equipment using epoxy and non-shrink grout.
Checking of drawings.
• Conducts fireproofing inspections for equipment vessels and steel structures.
• Engage in civil/ building system completion prior to hand over documents to operations.
• Review and approval of third party for testing materials
• Review and approval of Asphalt plant/Batching plant and third party for asphalt and concrete testing.
• Inspection and monitoring of building works i.e. maintenance shop building, Control Building, Team building, MCC substations, Decontamination buildings, Operator buildings, CAL Building, Generator building, Waste collection building, Chiller utility building and Breathing air station.
• Walk downs with PMT and Contractor key personnel’s for the improvement of Quality Management system.
• Walk downs with Contractor quality personnel for review and closure of punch list items prior to handing over of any Civil/building Facility.
Analyze, develop, negotiate, and monitor scope of work, and staffing levels for assigned projects. Ensure work is on schedule, within budget and comply with technical, safety and legal requirements. Develop; communicate an implement safety rules, policies and procedures.
Report to Project Manager (projects) and lead team of engineers and site assisting staff.
To contact and maintain liaison with the Consultant and site staff on all project matters. Exercise the general management and supervision of the entire project activities, making final decisions and giving instruction to successful completion for all section of works within schedule.
Implementation of project safety & quality plan with assistance of site personnel
Establish the overall work plan, scheduling sub-contraction plan, coordinating site activities, mobilization plan and review them periodically to ensure the project performance.
