STC - ZTE Managed Service Project

• Monitor and analyze BSC/RNC/cell level statistics, sort out worst cells of different KPIs, troubleshooting and recommending solutions for their improvements.
• Special events (Eid, Ramadan, summer vacations etc ) network optimization to meet high traffic volume and to ensure soft and hard parameters are in its optimum values.
• Based on traffic statistics and cluster drives for 2G/3G (UMTS900 & UMTS2100) forecasting upcoming capacity/coverage bottlenecks and propose new/capacity sites on time.
• Working on Trials/features and bench mark its related KPIs on cell as well as on network level.
• Responsible for preparing Weekly/monthly report which includes network level, cell level & cluster level Radio KPIs.
• Working on worst cells to improve KPIs on Cell as well as Network level to achieve agreed SLA.
• Handling customer complaints and trouble tickets, investigating & troubleshooting issues. Implementing / recommending soft and on site physical changes to ensure timely resolution of the trouble ticket raised.
• Working on USF6 Pre-Post launch optimization for new and swapped sites after site integration notification from Project team.
• Traffic balancing among 3G carriers and 2G (900 and DCS) to avoid over and underutilized within the capacity of the network.

• Responsible of End to End site acceptance from Manage service team of 400 plus Roll out sites which include swap, new and expansion sites in south region having Eight BSCs.
• Audit BSS database to rectify parametric discrepancies for newly integrated sites in the BSCs before sending DT team to ensure that soft parameters are in its optimum values.
• Hands-on experience on BSC6900 (V9R11) /BTS3900 with parametric optimization for timers, Inter/intra site/BSC/MSC handovers, SD-TCH traffic and blocking, IRAT HO.
• Prepare frequency, BSIC, MAL and Neighbor plan for Pre launch optimization and confirm soft parameters and BSS configuration before drive test on site.
• Post Processing of logs to provide solutions (frequency changes, physical re-designs, neighbor additions/deletions, parametric changes, identification of sector swaps) for the rectification of quality issues using TEMS and ACTIX.
• Giving technical support to L+6, L+7 and L+8 newly integrated expansion, new and swap sites optimization in order to ensure complete handover to MNS Team and take final KPIs acceptance.
• Handle Special events planning and optimization to meet high network utilization requirement i.e. Eid, Ramadan and some other on & off festival/holidays during whole year.
• Meeting and coordination with Pre sales and Technical Marketing team to Prepare and finalize RFQ and BOQ for upcoming new phases.

STC Wireless Network Design Project (Ericsson/ Huawei /Siemens)
Responsibilities: • Dimensioning RAN (number of channel elements, Node-Bs, RNCs) according to the coverage, capacity and quality requirements from the STC operator.
• Network design for both 2G and 3G (WCDMA/HSDPA) with 3 Carriers providing (HSDPA 42.2 Mbps and HSUPA 5.6 Mbps) network.
• Plan Node-Bs in ASSET defining their related parameters: site coordinate, antenna type, antenna height, antenna tilt, antenna azimuth, CPICH power, cable loss, propagation model parameters.
• Reviewed Final Detail Engineering Design on ASSET3G for 2G and/or 3G network based upon results, modify site design and forward it to implementation team.
• Validating the site configuration in the field during the technical site survey visit and prepared the Technical Site Survey report.
• Done Nominal Planning based on certain parameters i.e. polygon, population information, growth factor and also input from marketing dept for that area/region.
• Analyzed site performance after integration through drive test measurements and/or OSS measurements, detecting problems and recommend revised site design to fix problems, if any.
• Prepared complete USF Project proposal i.e. nominal planning, site design, UMTS900/GSM900 services to the remote area in Riyadh district.
• Recommend and analyze additional coverage, capacity request based upon the feedback from optimization team for 2G/3G sites.
