Area of responsibilities comprises of managing entire I & C maintenance related activities of three different Oil & Gas processing facilities of Pakistan Oil Fields. Main responsibilities consists of
To plan, direct, and coordinate all the Maintenance activities in the Instrument & Control Section to ensure availability and reliability.
Perform the instrument and control design modifications (in Control System/Safety Systems) on request of Process Department. Consequence /Impact Analysis (or HAZOP in safety system) is carried out prior to authorization of Modifications.
Reliability /Risk analysis of every Control and Instrument Area and proper functional safety is being incorporated in the system to achieve the tolerable risk targets or SIL levels.
Managing all kind of External Engineering jobs which comprises of initializing requirements, preparation of tender document, technical evaluation of vendor submitted offers, final selection of vendor and finally monitoring the job execution.
Review and participation in Design and Development of E & I Projects. Such as
• Addition of new HP separators in the existing separation systems.
• Designing of new ESD/BMS Control System for SRU at Meyal Fields.
• Up-gradation of existing Delta-V and Plant Scape DCS Control System.
• Installation of Remote Monitoring System for FloBoss and GC.
To compile/provide input for preparation of division/department Capital, Operating and 5 Year Plan budgets, and monitor/control expenditures.

Have worked for a year as RTU engineer on a SCADA LDC PROJECT. The objective of this project was to install SCADA system on all 57 existing grid stations of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation. My job consists of following tasks
1) Design Modification electrical drawings (in SIEMENS ELCAD electrical software) of all Grid stations in order to install SCADA system at each grid.
2) Supervising the installation and commissioning of modification and adaptation work (including VATECH SAT RTUs and interface panels) at different grid stations
HAVE DONE TRAINING FOR 3 MONTHS IN SOUTH KOREAN ELECTRICAL MACHINE MANUFACTURING COMPANIES
WORKED AS HEAD OF ELECTRONICS INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE DEPTT.
Have installed a new forging plant in pakistan along with Korean engineers
