-Providing country wide engineering support to regional sales department for Electric Power Segment, Oil & Gas segment, Industrial and Marine segments, Air and Gas compressor division. Also liaise with Chiller division for engineering design activities of Co-generation and Tri-generation projects.
-Ensuring application compliance with principal requirements for maintaining higher operational availability of a power system by disseminating reference data/ acceptance criteria/ standards/ specifications.
-Establishing the specification of materials/equipment/systems and defining its acceptance criteria, conducting periodic verification and validation for the adherence to such acceptance criteria through technical audits in line with contractual provisions, standards, regulations and guidelines.
-Planning for design and project execution by conducting design reviews with A&I and project engineers
-Reviewing and understanding specific technical requirements in tenders and RFQs and transform the requirements by preparing and releasing engineering design data, drawings/ documents
-Coordinating with regional sales, Installation Execution and Commissioning Teams during the project life cycle.
-Part of vendor rating committee to improve upon the quality of receiving materials to meet customer specified output requirements.

Experience in innovative projects
- 7MW no-break power system at Tetra Pak comprising of 1 x 2MW high speed diesel gensets (C175) and 2500 kVA dynamic flywheel UPS for essential loads and 2 x 2.6 MW (3612) medium speed diesel gensets for non-essential loads with turnkey project cost of approx US$ 6 million. This project was one of its own kind among Caterpillar dealerships and presented as show case project to more than 80 dealers during Electric Power Dealer Conference at Malaga Spain in 2010.

OGDCL - N55 D353 land mechanical drill rig repowering Project with conversion of pneumatic controls to electronic governor controls by designing common electronic foot throttle system for 3 x 3412E engines.
OGDCL - F125 Romanian drill rig repowering project for replacement of Upetrum Engines with 2 x 3512 MUI engines package with NOV torque converter and lead the reverse engineering of locally designed custom spider for compound drive

Supervise project engineers and delegate responsibilities for areas of work to be undertaken. Developing work breakdown structure and produce project plans in MS Project/ Primavera P3. Undertake the role of both Cost and Planning Engineer on small or front end study projects and manage medium sized projects. Prepare comprehensive monthly project status reports in accordance with the project procedure. Prepare the projects documentation including data sheets, project quality plan, ITP, construction, installation and commissioning plan; and system performance testing.

Lead the successful establishment and implementation of ISO 9002 quality assurance model in B.E.W.L. as ‘ISO 9000 Project Coordinator’ and ‘Team Leader’ of Internal Quality Auditors. Successfully implemented the proposed process improvement and process/plant layout with regard to Material Handling and changes in fixture design with the help of QC tools that helped the reduction in the material wastage. Actively participated in the TPM, 5S and Kaizen activities with the production line workers and labors on the shop floor.
