Working as Lead Engineer-Utilities on “THE ROYAL ATLANTIS RESORT AND RESIDNECES” and responsible for reviewing the shop drawings related to Storm Water Drainage, Foul Sewerage/Wastewater, Water Supply, Fire Fighting and Irrigation Systems. My scope of services includes the following.

• Review contractors shop drawings, technical queries and technical submittals to ensure compliance with design documents.
• Provide guidance and ensure engineering quality design and compliance with client requirements, local design guidelines, local codes, international codes and international standards of independent engineering firms that are carrying out the detailed engineering design.
• Coordinate and visit site as required, to resolve problems, interpret drawings & documents, and provide technical support during construction phase.
• Act as technical advisor and ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with specifications.
• Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners and quantity surveyors involved in the project.
• Liaise with the authority to ensure compliance with construction regulations and by laws.

Worked as Senior Engineer-Utilities with Infrastructure Department and responsible for the delivery of projects related to Storm Water Drainage, Foul Sewerage/Wastewater, Water Supply, Fire Fighting and Irrigation Systems. My scope of services includes the planning and designing of infrastructure utilities, Preparation of concept to detailed design using Benltey StormCAD, Civil Storm, SewerCAD and WaterCAD, Technical report writing and review of design drawings and report, Preparation of tender documents and managing of tendering process including preparation of contract documents. Worked as Short term Individual Consultant with Asian Development Bank for assignment “Damage and Need Assessment of Floods in pakistan-2010”. My scope of services includes the following.

• Collection of data/information related to the different sectors (Water and Sanitation, Transportation and Communication, Governance Infrastructure and Energy & Power) on damages due to floods.

• Coordinate this exercise with Government, which could ascertain content, quality, reliability and timely delivery of Information/data according to the agreed templates and guiding principles.

• Coordinate and cross check the gathered information with GOP and UN agencies such as UNICEF, UNDAC & UN Disaster Management Unit etc for necessary revalidation of the collected data & any improvement/data cleaning required.

 Design of Storm Drainage system for Sharjah:

Worked as a Design Engineer on the project of Storm and Foul water drainage design of areas under Sharjah Municipality using latest software Windes and MDCAD. The total project area is 3240 hectares and has been divided into 18 sub areas of 180 hectares (approx) each. The Project included the Preliminary and detailed design of sewer network, hydraulic design using software Windes, preparation of Manhole schedule including Schematic layouts, conflict resolution of Storm networks with other services and preparation of BOQs on CESMM format. Following are the areas, in which I was involved.

Worked with National Highway Authority under the consultant NESPAK on “Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad Motorway (M-3) Project” and job responsibilities included the supervision of earthen reinforced wall for different flyovers & pavement related activities.
