Throughout my MBA in 2014, I was associated with RB as a Demand Planner and Sales Intern at different occasions. Major responsibilities/projects were;
o Initiated monthly forecast for S&OP cycle in collaboration with Sales & Marketing.
o Managed efficient distribution of products from factory to warehouse through JD Edwards.
Internship Projects:
o Developed a revamp proposal for RB’s Rural Development Force (RDF) program. Designed efficient distribution system for sustainable and efficient management of products from the city to far flung villages.
o Designed field sales stewardship manual which served as a single guidebook for sales force. It contained SOP’s necessary for RB business dealings and transactions for both retail and wholesale channel.
o Completed one year training as a Graduate Trainee Engineer from May 2011 to May 2012.
o Hired as Project Engineer - IV in Technical department at EPCL Port Qasim plant site.
o Transferred to Inspection section of Technical department and promoted to Inspection Engineer - III.
o Process Safety Risk Management (PSRM) certified with DuPONT.
o Developed modifications packages for new projects including contractor’s scope of work and bid proposals based on fulfilling the requirements as prescribed by "Management of Change" protocol.
o Procurement, contract management, project controlling, scheduling and execution of the job as per the safety guidelines, set in the “Job Safety Analysis (JSA)”.
o Good understanding and working knowledge of applicable engineering codes, standards and recommended practices such as API 510, API 570, ASME Sec VIII, ASME Sec IX, and NACE standard practices.
o Worked as an In-charge of the auxiliaries section at Refrigerator Assembly Line in the production management department, managing manpower of 20 workers and technicians.
o Production, planning, forecasting and auditing of material management under Oracle based ERP environment.
Studied MBA from the most prestigious business school of Pakistan. My majors were Supply Chain Management along with an exchange semester at Sabanci University, Turkey.
Studied MBA exchange semester at Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey under the scope of Erasmus.
Secured 76.5%. Amongst the top 25 students of the batch out of 150. SHELL ECO MARATHON ASIA 2010: Designing and Fabrication of a prototype super-mileage vehicle for the competition of Shell Eco Marathon Asia, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This project was funded by Engro Vopak Terminal Ltd.
